Muloghonto Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Firstly once they are illegal people will be expected to turn them in Secondly, Guns still need bullets. With regulations in place soon bullets will run out for these guns Err no, thats not how it usually works. I am a gun owner, though not in America but in Canada.I am pretty sure what happens when a gun becomes 'classified as restricted firearms', is that you cannot buy it or sell it, but you can grandfather it. For eg, when i go to the range, there are people there, firing away with AK-47s, which have been restricted in Canada for over 15 years. I cannot buy them and the owners of such guns are allowed to keep the guns because they bought it prior to the rule change, they arnt allowed to buy anymore or sell it, but they can gift it to someone with copious amount of paperwork.
Muloghonto Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 This is against the liberty granted to the greatest nation on earth by god & the constitution. Freedom includes the right to own whatever gun you want. Ron Rand Paul 2016 :protest: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/16/rand-paul-obama-gun-actions_n_2491823.html You have never had, nor will you ever have the freedom to buy any gun you want. In 1870s, you the public were not allowed to buy needle guns ( the first gun to actually have a modern firing pin). Today, goodluck buying a gatling gun or a fully auto 50 calibre gun turret. You cannot.

Well according to the laws being discussed, all automatic gun owners will have to hand them back. Plus there will be huge incentives programs for the same, gun owners will be given money or goods in return of handing back the guns
clarkP Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 The discussion over the right to own guns is the hottest topic today, coast to coast.
