bharat297 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Australia should play the following side: Warner Watson Hughes Clarke Khawaja Wade O'Keefe Siddle Starc Lyon Hilfenhaus IMO Australia would need to pick good swing bowlers in their attack like Hilfenhaus and Starc. Lyon obviously would need to step up another level and be more attacking (which is going to be tough against the Indian batsmen because they'll go after him from ball one). I would pick Steve O'Keefe. I feel he was unlucky not to be picked for Australia earlier. In the search for a spin bowling all-rounder, Australia looked at Steve Smith and Glenn Maxwell but O'Keefe has done well for a number of years now and in Indian conditions, having a spinner that takes the ball away from the right-hander is very useful.

Lyon will have better avg on this tour than Warne's career avg in India. watson/warner will be raping our spinners on one end and our captain will spread it for Clarke for his double ton. exactly..some new legends will born,their pacers would be menacing out of nowhere considering they`ll play 3 pacers..our spinners will make legends outta warner,cowan,forest etc.. only +ves should be our young pacers..first time have to say our young pacers would determine a series in india compared to spinners.
