Yep irrespective of the facilities, this incident will be remembered as Pakistani players being safeguarded from Indian fundamentalists. There are times when we just can't help but shoot ourselves in the foot.

The country has enough nut cases, yeah the majority is fine specially the ones living in India, but the NRIs are in general are a basket case of hatred towards Pakistan and Muslims and hardcore RSS bhakts, who unfortunately have a disproportionate representation on fora like this.

That doesn't affect anything. The failure (although partial, the tourney has not been cancelled) in this case is the Indian establishment and its citizens. I don't know why this internet warrior business has to be brought up so often when it doesn't change anything remotely wrt these matters. The same bunch will be cheering for India when the team plays against Pak and not attacking the hotels.

So 'Atithi Devo Bhava' goes for a toss when pakistanis are involved, as i said, siteing security, this is a good move by the authorities, however, the situation could have been handled allot better, matches involving pakistani women should have been played at venues like delhi, mohali or ranchi. This sudden rush of anger towards pakistan post the LOC issues shows that there are certain elements in Indian politics who does not beleive in Gandhiwad and want to lash out at pakistanis at every given opportunity.

They are not basket cases for not liking people who carry out mass murders of their own people. No idea wtf you going on about. Indians are not stupid like you think. They should hate pakistan for what they are and do against India. You need to go to india more often and speak to people, they dont like paks much, not sure why you go on about nris only.

Why are people like you pretending that Pkaistan is lovely innocent neigbour. When reality is that pak govt, state, isi and people have been and still are conducting a campaign of hate and violence against us to undermine india, target our terroties and to basicaly kill the neighbouring kaffirs. Why are so many people brusing it under the carpet. Like pak is nice people who we unjustly villify? Seriously pathetic people posting at the moment who have no uderstanding of pak people and their motivations and agendas. We are not launching attacks on them, or conducting terrosim against them. Neither should we. But we should defend our people and borders and make sure our people are not killed. If they stop killing us we will be fine but they dont. They play a double game which so many plonkers seem to fall for!! We should use everything in our power to stop the killings. Both security wise and diplomatically. I fully advocate no attacks but full shut down of border and ties till they stop. No cricket players, singers or anything else Please done make me list ALL the innocent victims of pak terrosim .
