Swing_n_Speed Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 What is the difference between these sects? Shias/Sunnis, Balochis, Ahmadis............
panther Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 What is the difference between these sects? Shias/Sunnis' date=' Balochis, Ahmadis............[/quote'] Baloch is not a sect it is a ethnic group. shia-sunni difference is basically on who should have succeded the Prophet (pbuh) after his death sunnis accept Abubaker,Umar,Uthman and Ali as the caliph of the muslims in that order shia reject this and believe ali should have been first as he was related to the prophet. Ahmadiya is a relatively new sect who believe that the prophet(pbuh) was not the last messenger of Allah and their leader Mirza ghulam ahmed was the last prophet of Allah as well as the second coming of Christ and the mahdi.
Number Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Well, it will be unfair with Hindus and Ahmedis if Shias don't face the same fate. Rules can't be same for majority and minority but at least for all parts of minorities they should be same.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 But i think Pakistanis esp a few sitting in West are concerned about Kashmir and Afzal Guru more.
Texy Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Bet many would blame Israel/India or America for this as well. It's a never ending cycle. Remember Dr. Abdus Salam, who died in 1996, was once hailed as a national hero for his pioneering work in physics and now his name has been removed from school textbooks because he was a member of the Ahmadi sect. You have years of state sponsorship discrimination and one's wondering how is this happening in Pakistan. Ha!
dial_100 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I hope some sanity and peace prevails in that country. People are dying every day. Pakistani media constantly cries like little babies that their country is wrongly targeted by the world. Unless they take some initiative and start educating people through this media, there cannot be any change. Let them show their people that how other countries fight against injustice, intolerance, corruption, politics and so on. Uneducated, illiterate people get easily fooled by others who are extremely reach in that country. What do you expect? RIP.
jairamesh Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 There is probably a economic angle to the genocide of Baloch shias, it's probably backed by the Pak army to scare them off into refugee camps so the Sunni Punjabi dominated Pak army can exploit the massive natural resources of the Balochistan for their own greed and paranoia to keep their army sustainable. The Gwador port has just come online, so expect more mass murdering of ethnic Balochis in Balochistan.
panther Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Balochis are not shia they are majority sunni it is hazaras who are shia.
jairamesh Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Balochis are not shia they are majority sunni it is hazaras who are shia. So it's okay to murder them if they are minority, Hazaras, and shia? It's funny you, as a Pakistani, have not yet condemned these targeted ethnic-religious mass murders of your countrymen :hmmm: or you secretly condone them?
panther Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 So it's okay to murder them if they are minority, Hazaras, and shia? It's funny you, as a Pakistani, have not yet condemned these targeted ethnic-religious mass murders of your countrymen :hmmm: or you secretly condone them? I consider shia as muslims and have nothing against them.
ganeshran Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 So it's okay to murder them if they are minority, Hazaras, and shia? where does he say that?
jairamesh Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I consider shia as muslims and have nothing against them. Do you condemn this bombing of Balochis?
Dumbbells Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Oh my god. If they are gonna kill people from their own religion, guess what they would do to the hindus and Christians....??? I am glad we got rid of this **** piece of land from us.
straighttalk Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Man' date=' this is serious embarassment, you have to feel for pakis, firstly, their country is just like shyt thats been made up, an angry man doesnt get a desired postion in the parliament and so he decides to start his own phaakin country? What was he thinking? Then over a period of time they fall in love with kashmir and demand kashmir like it their own [i']baap ki jaagir, like they have owned it from dowry acquired from one of their 21 wives. After been kicked in the back side many a times, they decide to teach indians a lesson, so they form terrorists camps in different parts of their regions and train their kids to hate India and Indians. Give them guns at tender age and brain wash them to kill themselves on suicide missions. Now some fool in the group shows up and says, indians are not the only targets, there are these shia phucks aswell who needs to be adressed correctly, so before killing indians they start their own session of mock drills with shias, for some net practice before the big game. So all and all what i can conculde is, once they run out of shias they will come back at us, so BAD SIGNS FOR THE INDIANS :afraid:. actually we should be thankful that jinnah created pakistan..imagine those madrasah educated fundamentalist staying as part of india.... besmirching our reputation, creating problems, and lowering our international value...thank god they are in a different country
The Outsider Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 actually we should be thankful that jinnah created pakistan..imagine those madrasah educated fundamentalist staying as part of india.... besmirching our reputation' date=' creating problems, and lowering our international value...thank god they are in a different country[/quote'] That conclusion has no factual basis. If Pakistan were part of India it's very possible that the Muslims there would have become secular and liberal like the vast majority of Indian Muslims are. In fact Frontier Gandhi was leading a majority of such group in what today is NWFP and very radicalized where he is looked down upon as a traitor.
dial_100 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I dont know about if muslims of pakistan would have been secular, had they still been part of India but I can proudly say that Indian muslims are the most secular muslims on the planet earth. Probable reason for that could be that the fundamental ideology was separated and we all are saved. Anything is possible to say but I think this sounds more believable.

The Outsider Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 :hysterical::hysterical: For starters how many radicalized, fundoo Indian Muslims have you seen on ICF? Care to name them? As for the counter question I've seen plenty here starting from BossBhai, sandtest, Dada_Rocks, you etc. etc.
Tiger80 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 For starters how many radicalized, fundoo Indian Muslims have you seen on ICF? Care to name them? As for the counter question I've seen plenty here starting from BossBhai, sandtest, Dada_Rocks, you etc. etc. How many Hindu's you have seen on ICF who believe in caste system in .So by your logic there should be no caste based discrimination in India Point is Online forums give you some of worst examples .Infact I believe real world of India is exactly opposite what you see on forums.
ravishingravi Posted February 19, 2013 Author Posted February 19, 2013 For starters how many radicalized, fundoo Indian Muslims have you seen on ICF? Care to name them? As for the counter question I've seen plenty here starting from BossBhai, sandtest, Dada_Rocks, you etc. etc. ICF is a perfect sample to make that assertion. Having said that, I do agree that Indian muslims are more open and less fundoo than their counterparts in some of the other countries.
