Rohit Sharma in the Test side. A lot of people won't agree based on his poor ODI career but I am confident if he is given an extended run in the Test side like Raina was, he will do very well for India.

He hasn't justified the faith the management has had over him in the shorter format. It is very difficult to back a player who doesn't improve after 5 years of international cricket. He is in a way Ishant Sharma of Indian batting. I don't think he will do any better in tests too. Just look at the India A tour to West Indies where he got 6 innings and scored only in one innings, throwing away his wicket in the rest. Pujara was the only success of the tour and that's the reason he is in the Indian team. For Rohit to make it to the Indian team he has to first prove that he can last 10 overs in a ODI game consistently over a period of time without having a brain freeze. I agree that Rayudu should play in the Indian team. He should replace Dhoni as the wicket keeper batsman in the T20 with immediate effect. Kohli should be the captain of the T20 side.
