He failed this match and last match. Ashwin failed this whole series with bat.
Dhoni made 224 in one innings this series. Next game run a ball 45. Bhuvneshwar has scored more runs in single innings than Jadeja scored in full series and he is supposed to be a bowler. :haha:

Who is? Apart from sachin who should retire, all others are scoring buckets of runs this series. He will not improve on SA tour. He will be walking wicket
I am talking of this innings.Dhoni,Vijay,Ashwin all flopped in that little session. gotta get him on SA A tour.as for his selection,he gets into the team on bowling now

I am not a fan of dhoni. But to say he has failed this series is just stupid
He failed this match and was a bit of a let down last match. Only in chennai he performed. Ashwin has failed the whole series and he's supposed to be a qualified batsmen and no 3rd all rounder in the world/

Ashwin started his career as an opening batsmen. He's ranked no 3 all rounder.
Jadeja has been choosen as a batsman who can bowl somewhat. That us why he bats at 7 and sometimes at 6. His bowling has been above expectation and his batting a disappointment. Ashwin, on the other hand, has been choosen as a specialist bowler. His batting is a bonus. Even if he fails as batsman, he will still be in the team provided he bowls well. Jadeja will find it difficult to keep his place in the team if he continues to fail as a batsman unless his bowling is so impressive that he is chosen in place of Ojha.

I don't see any player/selector saying that. He's in as a 3rd spinner who can bat a little bit.

Firstly, he was choosen because of the 3 triple hundreds he scored. Secondly, his bowling ability was not held in high esteem and his stature as a bowler has grown in this series only. Thirdly, the no. 7 batting position is not generally kept for bowlers who can bat a bit. No.8 and sometimes 9 is for bowling allrounders. All teams try to have a decent batsman at no. 7 these days. O

Toh? Woh spin bowling ka best player ho gaya kya! Professor ji, professor ji ... kabhi toh apne bias se bahar nikal jaaye. Ojha was out bowled by Jadeja in the first innings on a flat track - I know it bites you but that's the fact. Hota hai yeh sab, chalta hai.

Ojha had an easy chance dropped too in the first innings. :winky:
