Mithun always seemed ordinary to me at least. I don't care that much about Warrier's pace, as i expected to be dissapointed there. :giggle: But can he get the ball to move in FC is what i want to see.... Because if he can even at 135 to 140 THEN any bowler can be effective. Mithun just huffs and puffs but gets less movement compared to other bowlers. Warrier to me seems can get some away movement.

It is front on, but he is not staying straight and upright, but falling towards left side. There is heavy lateral flexion in his action. It will make him injury prone and result in loss of pace too.

Warrier has been a disappointment pacewise. Even if some correction is made for domestic speed readings, he will still be fast-medium. But he gets more bounce than ordinary and that is a plus. Also, he is bowling off-cutters regularly. Overall, he looks like a bouncy fast-medium pacer who bowls offcutters. He is a work in progress and is bowling too many half trackers and wayward deliveries.
