what are u talking abt? he is curator he has every right to make pitch which he thinks is best.. this is the difference between our home advantage and in countries like england and australia. mohali is not a turner not even in ranji why doctor the pitch just to suit team so much ? it should be natural pitch like it is in ranji maybe that would be fun:--D its his philosophy what he thinks to be a good track whats wrong with that? pitch should give result and take game atleast into 4th day..(unless other team is complete shyte ) to me thats good pitch south africa gave pakistan a sub continent like pitch and no one complained. coach said he would have preferred different kind of track but thats it move on .. even in australia all pitches are different one is flat track in adelaide,perth has bounce and movement now ,sydney used to have turn but now it does not but still its consistent ..

nope that is not how it works he is curator and in mohali u never get kolkata ,delhi like turners we never have at any level he never said its going to be perth like track its gonna be track which mohali normally is and he has no reason to turn it into a turner.. just bcos our team can win on very limited tracks does not means every track should be like it.. home advantage comes from playing matches on familiar tracks and this is natural mohali track it wont change its nature in a week jsut bcos indian team cannot play on normal track tell me in recent history where we got each and every track which was turner im talking abt days when kumble was captain and dhoni took over..and when we were decent didn't we get good track vs australlia in mohali last time around whee laxman and ishant won us match ?

by this definition mohali pitch is very good .why change it ? and i will say again,mohali was never a chennai ,delhi or kolkata like turner its just not true nature of pitch. we get tracks with movement for bowlers at ranji,ipl and zonal cricket ..thats what mohali is just like every track in australia is not like perth,every track in india cannot be rank turner..its simple.. whats wrong with pitch which helps every one ? whats wrong if curator thinks a decent pitch should help every bowler and get result ? home advantage comes from getting used to home conditions ,as players are used to home pitches they have advantage over other teams.. home advantage certainly does not means a situation where pitch wins u matches.. and if pitch is not of ur liking u lose.. pitch does not win u match..u play on it.. do u think south africa or australia specifically make green tracks for us ? thats a myth! pitches in domestic cricket in australia are much more dangerous then pitches we get in tests! i agree with dhoni we should get pitches which help bowlers and are good for result.. but it does not means we hsould have kolkata like track through out country just bcos we are only good on that track:cantstop: i will ask u again was track in 2008 vs australia bad? to me it lead to one of the best test matches of last decade..:two_thumbs_up:

Of course it's false. The only pitch in the series which can be classified as a turning track was Bombay which India lost comprehensively.

thanks for info.. well all the series which i saw we never really had turners in each and every match.. not in places like mohali.. i dont get why suddenly people want every pitch to be rank turner..lol we didn't get green tracks everywhere when we toured..its just not true :wall:

didn't kohli say something similar? :(( its just wrong attitude..best thing i liked abt indian team pre world cup was we were getting rid of tag that we cannot play on quick pitches.. didn't dhoni gave interview where he siad green tracks suit india..?and im not surprised we did good then,now we lose one match and its like come to india we will beat u :cantstop:

It's reputation for zzzoopper phhhasht pitches is overrated, but it has had good bounce, reverse swing, and turn for spinners on days 3-5 over most tests. That's how test pitches should be in India. Having pitches where the likes of Jaddu look like effective spin options is a mockery of cricket.
