He looks young too. He has played for UP U19 last year. His age according to cricinfo is 19 years 64 days. Even if there is a difference of 1-2 years' date=' he still is not more than 21.[/quote'] For 19 he is too quick..u don't see Indian Pacers clocking over 140 in domestic cricket even in the prime:giggle: I guess he is rare talent like yadav:two_thumbs_up:

Chennai Super Kings sign up five bowlers

Chennai: Chennai Super Kings owner Gurunath Meiyappan and coach Stephen Fleming seem to be on a mission. Hot on the heels of adding some firepower to the bowling department with the addition of Australians Dirk Nannes, Ben Laughlin, South African Chris Morris, West Indian Jason Holder and versatile Sri Lankan spinner Akila Dananjaya at Sunday's IPL 6 auction, the two-time champions continued their shopping spree on Tuesday by signing up five uncapped domestic bowlers. Ankit Rajpoot, Imtiyaz Ahmed (both from Uttar Pradesh), Mohit Sharma (Haryana) and Ronit More (Karnataka) made waves in the recently-concluded Ranji season, while R.Karthikeyan is an emerg ing left-arm spinner from Chennai. “Mohit bowls very quick and is fresh from a great Ranji season representing Haryana. Imtiyaz, who plays for UP, is an exciting fast bowler and he can bat as well. Ankit, another fast bowler from UP, is tall and Chennai’s Karthikeyan is very talented,” said Gurunath. With the assistance of bowling coach Andy Bichel, a former Aussie pacer, Fleming had been on the look out for local seamers to cover their shortcomings. “Bowling is very much the focus for this year,” said Fleming. At Sunday’s auction, Super Kings were expected to buy R.P. Singh as they had no Indian pacer in their squad. They did bid for RP, but the UP bowler was eventually snapped up by Royal Challengers Bangalore. “Now, we have a large group of bowlers whom we want to develop. Some have come from local teams whilst others are very young and raw with talent. We have a good development plan around our local players,” added Fleming. The 19-year-old Ankit made his Ranji debut for UP in 2012 and it proved to be a dream start to his first-class career. He took 31 wickets in seven matches at an impressive average of 18.80. The 24-year-old Mohit played eight matches for Haryana in this season’s Ranji taking 37 wicket at an average of 23.24, while Karnataka’s Ronit made a sensational debut by grabbing a six-wicket haul to skittle out Goa for 54.

they missed josh hazelwood, the star of the 2010 U19 final.unreliable body ofcourse.but he has shown a natural ability to keep a short economy rate in his short career plus ability to get bounce from 6 4 frame. wud be interesting to see ankit and mohit. but will they get chances? as i already said, only one among morkel, bravo and jadeja really needs to be played.one wud go with jadeja.

Thanks mate.. Looks youngs also and has good height . But looks like his follow through is very short and doesnt seem like trying to bowl fast at all .
Still. He bowls pretty quick, was the fastest bowler in this match. He has a good strong action. Bowling coach needs to refine that.
