I reckon India could pile up some big runs against this bowling attack.
that won't be a problem in subcontinent... that too @ home. infact that never was a problem against mcgraw or warne too..

Another Silly thread from DSR. They just won the real World Cup in grand fashion without losing a match without Warne or Lee in Caribbean. It will take much more to end their dominance .
Dont post on my threads then. You say its a silly thread then you post a comment on the subject topic using facts to back up your point. Makes you look a hypocrite and a bit silly yourself.

I think KR already did that by giving an example of how easily Australia won the WC.

I have already agreed that you are a crowd puller . :two_thumbs_up:Can't resist your threads , mate ! I like most of your threads, just a few I don't like ! Especially Aussie bashing , because that happens to be my favorite team after India.

Besides they'll suffer more in test matches rather than ODIs. I'll bet their dominance will be way less in the coming years. They lost the Ashes when McGrath wasn't there even though SW had a superb series.

More wheels coming of the aussie juggernaught as saint gilly retires and Hogg is exposed as being cr#p. So they have no quality keeper at level of saint gilly, as chump haddin will be exposed. And no decent spinner in whole of austarlia. Thats right the aussies are coming back to the pack more and more!

This is a loss for them and they know it. They owe the series to the 3 blind men. Other than the 1st test, they were matched and overplayed way too often.

I agree with you' date=' but if they continue to remain the undisputed #1, surely their era of dominance wouldn't have ended ? You can only call an end to an era once the team falls from it's high ranking, ie; if AUS drop to 2nd place in the ICC Test Championship[/quote'] You can't say the australian dominance is over if they slip to #2 spot unless it is for an extended period. AND you can't say (not that anybody has) that another team is now dominant (or the new champions) unless they too have put together a long trot at the top against the best opposition, as the Aussies have done. Personally I think Australia does lack a world class spinner and the bowling attack is generally weakened, but Lee has stepped up incredibly and must be one of the world's greatest fast bowlers right now. The others will improve and I have no doubt that the Australian system will produce some great bowlerzs over the next few years.

Bump! I called this first! Now Gilly gone and hogg gone with cr#p replacements, although Hogg was always cr#p. The wheels are coming off and the gap btwn them and the rest is narrowing every day! Especially when you see oap haydens shoddy fielding now. He cant have much left in the tank. Yob and hussey are no spring chickens either. They have no spinner and no proven keeper. This is the end of an era

I think its too early to believe that aussies era is over. We have to wait and see if it really happens as in the case of Windies through Clive Lloyd, Viv Richards, Ritchi Richardson, Walsh etc. the decline of black devils and now ( I don't know if Sarwan or Gayle is the captain of Windies) they are one of the average teams. Lets wait n watch, if this happens with Aussies in the due course of time.

Of course its the end of an era, but its also the start of a new era. Aussie cricket is in good hands as shown by their exploits in the IPL with Ausralians winning the best batsman and overall player awards with their younger players. Players that will retire soon include Dravid,Tendulkar, Kumble and Laxman which will see India fall back in the rankings behind SA, ENG and PAK.

Nope. Your batting will still be strong but your bowling is weaker and weaker. However, there is good news as you seem to have a genuine qualiuty all rounder in Watson. As for India our batting will always be strong. And our bowling is getting stronger every year with more and more pacers emerging.

I refuse to believe that. The culture of sports is strong in that country and esp in cricket that they will come up with a solid gameplan and tactics for this twenty20 version and they will be producing and nourishing a lot of talent in the future so I reckon they will still be a huge force. However, it can only be good for the game of cricket if they lose here and there and make the game look like a game which can swing either way and not a sure shot result
u hit bulls eye!
