fineleg Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 Most frustrating aspect of MSD is his team (playing 11) selections: just a few examples among plenty: 1. Ishant Sharma repeatedly picked in playing 11 2. Piyush Kaanpidensh Chawla in Worldcup playing 11 3. Sreesanth in ODIs!?? WC finals?? really! 4. Ignoring Ojha and now Ozzzaaa struggling to find his rhythm 5. Har Har Jai Jai Jaydev Unadkat  over Yadavin SA plenty other 6. Rohit Sharma?? 7. No to Rahane This mule like stubborn attitude to repeatedly selecting some players and ignoring others is the most frustrating aspect of his captaincy. Which playing 11 selections and non-selections by MSD has left you tearing your hair apart?
yoda Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 4. for sure. Dropping your most successful bowler from the previous series is absurd. Next would be 2. Piyush Chawla in WC 11 just to boost his kaanfidence.
Desi Cartman Posted March 15, 2013 Posted March 15, 2013 One should not lol at his selection during the WC, he won the cup and I think thats enough to judge him. Picking bhajji, viru, dinda etc can be questioned in tests
jf1gp_1 Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Bhaji and ishant , cannot believe they are still in playing xi
rkt.india Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 playing 3 spinners Ashwin, Jaddu, Rahul Sharma on a fast and bouncy Melbourne pitch.
Pagalpanti Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Its like Déjà vu Isn't this the 1000th thread on same topic
carnish Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 1. Ishant 2. Chawla in WC repeatedly 3. No Rahane in Tests. 4. Rohit Sharma in Sri Lanka
Texan Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 In this order: 1. No Rahane in Tests 2. Unadkat over Umesh (even a dumb person with no cricketing knowledge would have been able to tell that this was an unmitigated disaster of a decision) 3. Persistence with Bhajji over the years 4. Raina in Tests... and more Tests.... and more Tests.
