deathmonger Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Too close to call actually. Hafeez has been doing well in last few years but even Jadeja has recently started what Hafeez is doing but better. Right now HAfeez but Jadeja will prolly overtake him in a few years time.

Exactly, Hafeez has done it longer and we cant just see stats since comebacks. Hafeez is more established and a much better bat than Jadeja against both pace and spin at the moment.

In fact Jadeja is better in both batting and bowling if you consider overall stats (minnow removed). Jadeja Batting - 27.63 Bowling - 34.17 Hafeez Batting - 26.93 Bowling - 36.08

He hasn't really played that badly against the good sides when he has got a chance.

But since Hafeez has played a greater % of his overall matches against minnows they influence his overall stats more. Against minnows Jadeja Batting - 116 Bowling - 34.16 Hafeez Batting - 30.09 Bowling - 24.75 So Jadeja has done better than Hafeez against both minnows and non-minnows.
