Raina's selection has been a disgrace and that has been the case ever since he got into the test team 4 years ago without doing anything in Ranji ( Another similar disgraceful selection being Yuvi) But to mix it up with every CSK player selected and accuse them as bias height of stupidity.

One common facto in both their debut was obviously the confidence of their test captains.

Bit different from what you said. Dhoni has not just signed for Rhiti sports, he is a direct owner of it. Hence any commercial which the players get, Dhoni gets a direct cut. So how do players get commericals? By being a part of the international team of course

If say Rahul was given as much chance as Jadeja he would have done better Sachin, Sehwag and Gambhir got enough chances becuase they have proved themselves at the highest level. Seriously if this is true Rhiti's management sucks, they are conspiring to make their product less marketable. Raina will fail in tests and its better for his overall marketability to stay an loi player.

His ODI and T20 performance along with his success in IPL is more than enough for him to earn enough endorsements and contracts. I don't think test cricket is as popular as ODI/T20/IPL in Indian for Marketing/advertising companies.
