Who is the better captain in Tests? Both are good at home(UAE) and both are rubbish away. But who would u rate higher?

Captaincy is overrated. It depends on the team. Having said that I would go with Dhoni as he has better record away against common teams played. NZ Dhoni: W 1-0 Misbah: W 1-0 WI Dhoni: W 1-0 Misbah: D 1-1 SL Dhoni: D 1-1 Misbah: L 0-1 SA Dhoni D 1-1 Misbah: L 0-3 Misbah hasn't toured Eng or OZ (and never will as next tour is in 2016-17 season and he'll be retired by then). Even if Misbah had toured Eng or Oz, with their current lineup it would have been a whitewash in both those countries.

Misbah is very educated/calculated,while dhoni has taken some strange decisions like leaving wicketkeeping and bowl himself in swinging conditions of england etc.i rate Misbah in test and dhoni in LOIS.

Hardly, both are ultra - defensive. Misbah went for the draw in the SL-Pak 3rd test (UAE) as well as NZ-Pak 2nd test (NZ). Dhoni did the same with WI 3rd test (WI).

I cant choose because Misbah was as instrumental in India winning the World Cup 2007 and 2011 as Dhoni. :P

then it comes to team,Misbah has no Dravid,Sachin,vvs,or sehwag in the team to be confident and chase those targets,i still rate Misbah as test captain.
