Some jokes doing rounds as well after Mumbai thrashed CSK twice. Dhoni added to it with his following comments: reference (http://www.espncricinfo.com/indian-premier-league-2013/content/current/story/634326.html) 'Mentally we were not into this game' - Dhoni "We should have got 140. There was a comedy of errors, especially, in the batting department." Coach Fleming reflected Dhoni's thoughts: "It was the first day in the tournament which we would like to forget. "Ashwin is a capable bat. The most important thing was stopping the wickets.

I used to rate Dhoni a lot as a captain, but his comments that Mentally we were not into this game' is sickening. If the team especially the leader had already lost mentally before the game has started, then how the hell is he going to lead the team.it reflected in the performance.hopefully he is mentally prepared to play strong teams in Champions trophy atleast. else better change the captain.

Actually i liked the way Dhoni captained CSK in some IPL matches this year. His captaincy was nice in regards to the way he changed his batting order as per situation. But sending Ashwin was one of the worst blunder i have seen from any captain. In tests it's ok to send nightwatchman to stop specialist batsman getting out at end of the day, but using nightwatchman in T20 is really bad captaincy. And then Fleming tells the press " "Ashwin is a capable bat. The most important thing was stopping the wickets. Also, iirc Ashwin opened in one match ahead of Murali Vijay. Already the format is so short and then the captain opts to give bowlers more overs while batting than the specialist batsman. It's just hard to agree that is the way to go about things.
