G_B_ Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 https://twitter.com/mipaltan/media/grid looks like MI have launched mini figures. That mini bhajji figure looks ace.
Detonator Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 so your saying that CSK supporters and great people are oxymoron? your words not mine :giggle: i dont think my friend knows what oxymoron means. he was probably looking to say double meaning or something like that. Based on a pun maybe :whack: :whack: :whack: See the whole picture CSK are great people - sarcasm likes me - sarcasm saying it in MI thread - oxymoron
G_B_ Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 thats still not the right use of the word oxymoron. that word is used in a single sentence fragment and not the whole picture as you put it. you should have left it at sarcasm (which is was not, i meant it)
G_B_ Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 The correct wording should have been a MI supporter praising a CSK supporter is an oxymoron.

G_B_ Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 you dont smell an oxymoron. Its a matter of fact (in the thought of the user) stated with conviction when used nevermind.....

Sidhoni Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 and btw sid i am disappointed you could not make it out. I gather your from Bhopal. Marathi and Hindi are similar languages and a base in Devanagari script. Marathi itself is more sanskirt oriented than Hindi. But if there is a language closest to hindi its marathi. Just how thick do you have to be not to get the basic jist of it? I can understand if Detonator does not get it. Words like sant= saint in Hindi and Marathi. devachee = key word being dev = god in hindi and marathi That day ChePu wrote Gujarati and I was able to understand as it sounded similar to Hindi. About Mararthi, no idea! Ikdey, Ukdey is all I know(From some marathi friends)

Ikdey, Ukdey is all I know(From some marathi friends) [/quote'] Ikday = here Tikday = there I know Hindi (at a spoken level) Marathi (good) and Gujarati (parts of it probably at a novice level)
CSK Fan Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I hope some idiots now learn the value of a good partnership without losing wickets at the top. They might cry about slow starts given by Sachin, but the truth is, whenever Mumbai has kept wickets in hand in the first 8, even while chasing big scores, they have won, whenever they have lost wickets in the beginning going for runs, they have been thumped

Ideally Smith should have been the one who actually went for broke. But he played slower than Sachin Tare Sachin KKD Rohit Pollard Rayadu/ Maxwell/D Smith Rishi Dhawan / C Nile /Nechim (assuming Dhaval is unfit by Tuesday and looks likely) Johnson Bhajji Ojha Malinga Worrying thing for Mumbai, The form of KKD seems to have tapered off. Maybe Rohit needs to come at 3. Kulkarni has been decent this season and is more of a frontline bowler than Rishi. I dont think Rishi adds much with the bat and wont trust him much towards the end. Considering Dhawal could not bat today IMO he should not be risked. Might be better to trust bhajji and Johnson and go with Nechim. Rayadu hmm maybe D Smith or Maxwell would be better.....

Its being a CSK fan isn't it? That must have resulted in you developing a heightened sense of smell :D

G_B_ Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 KD completely lost form after getting selected for CT yup....
vvvslaxman Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 KD completely lost form after getting selected for CT CT selection was based on initial performances of IPL and recent test series. Bad move. I know Yuvi is a bit unfit.. His omission may be justified. But he would still be better than M Vijay. But KKD selection is okay considering he can do multiple roles.

vvvslaxman Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I am just talking about current form for MI ' date=' least bothered about CT.[/quote'] KKD usually has very short peaks. Often won't last more than 3 or 4 matches. Miraculously he played more good innings than that. NOt because of lack of technique. But lack of temperament to play big knocks regularly.
