G_B_ Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 KKD usually has very short peaks. Often won't last more than 3 or 4 matches. Miraculously he played more good innings than that. NOt because of lack of technique. But lack of temperament to play big knocks regularly. so long he chips in with 20 odd runs when batting at 3 at a regular basis for mumbai it should be fine.
vvvslaxman Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 so long he chips in with 20 odd runs when batting at 3 at a regular basis for mumbai it should be fine. It is a good move that they promoted Rayudu ahead today. KKD's shelf life is over for this season. He could do some damage at the end.

bulbul Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 i get a feeling Rayadu is going to make way for Sachin. Today was Rayadu's chance. He could not make it count. Rayudu gone down this year. he was Awesome in 2010 along with Tiwary :((
vvvslaxman Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Rayudu gone down this year. he was Awesome in 2010 along with Tiwary :(( It is hard to predict which youngsters will have awesome year for a season. Rohit sharma, Raina are the only two who are reasonably cosnistent over the 6 seasons among youngsters.
G_B_ Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I think it all depends where you bat and what sort of player you are. Rayadu is a 3-4 player. He has struggled at 5-6 this season. Mumbai maybe should have tried Rayadu at 3 this season.

Rohit sharma' date=' Raina are the only two who are reasonably cosnistent over the 6 seasons among youngsters.[/quote'] :agree: Sid trivedi may not be a youngster but always consistent.

pinkfreud Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 MI vs. CSK tomorrow. I don't think MI will take this one. Also think SRH will beat RR. MI has a knack for losing the plot in the playoffs. So IMO, they will lose to SRH. Final will be between CSK and SRH. -___-
carnish Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 My new team :mi: :isalute: :proud:  Join the YELLOW Brigade.

zakk Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013  Join the YELLOW Brigade. get ready for third thrashing by MI in a season
carnish Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 get ready for third thrashing by MI in a season No worries ... MI beats us ... We beat SRH ... And then we beat MI. You can beat us 3 times ... Not Four times. :weights:
pinkfreud Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 MI will only be able to win if they stop toying with Sachin's opening partner all the damn time. They also need to drop Rayudu, who's been the other flop show so far. Better to have Maxwell in his place. At least he'd be more likely to hit the big ones even if he won't stick around for long. Ponting, Smith, Tare, and Maxwell have opened throughout various stages of the tournament. Of these four, Tare has been the team's best bet. If Sachin is back for the playoffs, the playing XI should be: Tare Sachin Karthik Sharma Pollard Maxwell Bhajji Johnson Kulkarni/ Rishi Dhawan Ojha Malinga
zakk Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 No worries ... MI beats us ... We beat SRH ... And then we beat MI. You can beat us 3 times ... Not Four times. :weights: we will thrash you guys 4th time as well :agree:
