Mariyam Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 On a serious non troll note, I'm deeply disappointed that a tournament in which I invested so much time and money over the years is deeply tainted. At this stage, we can't even be sure if the eliminator today or the final on Sunday are pre-decided. Hope the investigators are able to reach to the end of this without any external pressure. That will be a big ask though. When IPL was initially launched, I remember that me and a huge group of friends and/or relatives used to attend games just to catch up. It became a place where people met after work and had a good time. It had a novelty factor. Cricket was only a background distraction. Most of the times I couldn't care less if the team won or loss. Heck, I may have not been able to name 4-5 players then. Its only later that the tournament grew on me. :(( I'd rather go party/ watch the Great Gatsby or w/e than see this.
