CG Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Its Good for international cricket that Wi and Nz Are showing improvement. In india they were competitive due to good seam bowlers like boult,Southee,Bracewell. They drew the series in lanka and even in sa some batsman they improved. Now against england they almost own the series.I think with good batsman like wiliamson, ross taylor .Also McCullum has captianed well.

Laaloo Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 They have some pretty good young batsman in Williamson, Brownlie, Guptill. IF taylor can give them a couple more years with good performance, they can win a few games here and there with that bowling attack if Boult and bracewell continue to develop.
FischerTal Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Soon, it will be the Loins competing with Zimbabwe and Bangladesh at the bottom of the table :agree:
I6MTW Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Soon' date=' it will be the Loins competing with Zimbabwe and Bangladesh at the bottom of the table :agree:[/quote'] Only in tests. They are decent in ODI and t20's.
FischerTal Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Only in tests. They are decent in ODI and t20's. well Dilshan and Sanga are going to retire soon, so I dont know about the ODI
Laaloo Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Soon' date=' it will be the Loins competing with Zimbabwe and Bangladesh at the bottom of the table :agree:[/quote'] and then pakis as well :agree:
I6MTW Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 well Dilshan and Sanga are going to retire soon' date=' so I dont know about the ODI[/quote'] all of the sl test players are bits and pieces players cut out for only LOI's.
FischerTal Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 all of the sl test players are bits and pieces players cut out for only LOI's. True. Its still hard to believe Sanga is in the top 10 Test batsmen ranking after that horrendous performance in Australia.
FischerTal Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 and then pakis as well :agree: Pakistan will do well at home, or UAE to be exact. They usually relied on their seamers to help draw tests overseas. If they can find good fast bowlers again, Im sure they will be in contention for the top 4.
I6MTW Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 True. Its still hard to believe Sanga is in the top 10 Test batsmen ranking after that horrendous performance in Australia. He is FTB. Because of his performances in the SC he is ranked. Or else he would be in the 20's to 30's.
FischerTal Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 He is FTB. Because of his performances in the SC he is ranked. Or else he would be in the 20's to 30's. there should be series between SL and Pak for who is the best FTB. Although we are in that position too unless our boys pull off miracle in next two years
I6MTW Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 there should be series between SL and Pak for who is the best FTB. Although we are in that position too unless our boys pull off miracle in next two years But our batsmen can at least play on turning tracks for now.
FischerTal Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 But our batsmen can at least play on turning tracks for now. not tendu :hysterical:
I6MTW Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 not tendu :hysterical: Even current Saurabh Tiwary can bat better then him.
FischerTal Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Even current Saurabh Tiwary can bat better then him. the Utthapa will look like Bradman in comparison to current Tendu.
I6MTW Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 the Utthapa will look like Bradman in comparison to current Tendu. Utthapa can bat well in spinning conditions. :winky:
FischerTal Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Utthapa can bat well in spinning conditions. :winky: tendu ruined whatever little chance badri had at a spot in the team. now he will ruin rayudu's and rahane's career as well.
I6MTW Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 tendu ruined whatever little chance badri had at a spot in the team. now he will ruin rayudu's and rahane's career as well. Rayudu's career was destroyed the moment he stepped into ICL.
Ram Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Not a single Kiwi batsmen features in the list of the world's top 15 batsmen. Their pace bowling is admirable, but nothing to shout about. Their spin department is laughable. They have NO chance of being a top-notch test team, there isnt simply enough talent to go around. And btw, that is not surprising at all. After all, in terms of sheer number, a metro train running in peak hours in Mumbai has more people than all of NZ.
