Jersey #10 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 KKR beats SH by 48 runs, Gambhir - Batting: 53 Runs, Sr 118 Kallis - Batting: 41 Runs, Sr 152; Bowling: 4 overs, 3 Wickets, Econ 3.25 How in the world could Gambhir win the MOM? Kallis should have won it purely based on his bowling alone. He took three major wickets of SH's highest scorers for the match. Patel 27, White 34, Perera 36.
Crookbond Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Jadeja spins the wheel of fortune before each game and the wheel says who the MoM should be - performance does not matter. One does not simply ... get a MoM award.
Lord Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Jadeja spins the wheel of fortune before each game and the wheel says who the MoM should be - performance does not matter. One does not simply ... get a MoM award. its Sir Jadeja
Crookbond Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 its Sir Jadeja :headshake: The word Sir in the dictionary has been changed to Jadeja. So, it's no longer Sir Ian Botham it is Jadeja Ian Botham. :proud:

Crookbond Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Shree should have been the MOTM and Kallis :agree: Shree Shri Ravishankar is not playing this edition of the IPL.
Jersey #10 Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 Add Faulkner to the list. Shree should have been the MOTM and Kallis :agree: Or Samson he took three good catches as a keeper and added vital runs at the required pace.
maniac Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Obviously nothing wrong with Gambhir being the M.OM,they made this pitch for him anyways to negate SRH bowlers,so it was a gift to Gambhir right from the start . If you don't think that was a travesty than m.o.m is not even a big deal :dontknow:

Jersey #10 Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 The cricketing world is so unfair to Kallis. He's like two players in one. A batting and bowling legend in one...Gambhir is maybe quarter of what Kallis is
game_changerr Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 yea,,,,,kallis should be mom ...even morgan would hav been good choice,,,,
jibranpatel15 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Very true, GG scored in the begenning bt both these scored at SR of over 175 combined and with Kallis getting 3/11 in 4 overs he should have been MOM. And even in 2nd game I dont agree with faulkner. He took 2/30 while trivedi took 2/23 & seesanth took 2/21 and both in 1 over aswell. Even sampson was most likely to get MOM if not them. He was the catalyst at the end where everyone was struggling or even Watson. He scored 32 in no time and that proved the difference in the end. Very poor decesions made realy
Debutant Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Obviously nothing wrong with Gambhir being the M.OM' date='[b']they made this pitch for him anyways to negate SRH bowlers,so it was a gift to Gambhir right from the start . If you don't think that was a travesty than m.o.m is not even a big deal :dontknow: Were you visiting Pluto for last couple of years and suddenly came back to watch this match ?? Kolkata pitch has been very slow and low for all the matches for years in IPL. Last year it was giving all low scoring matches. This year its little better.
India-KXIP fan Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Gambhir should have gotten it in the world cup final instead I reckon. Raina or Yuvi could have done what Dhoni did later but Gambhir prevented a collapse early on.
