But it is not about missing players. It is about form of the players. Viru, Mahela, Yadav, Irfan, Morkel all came back from injury and not in best of the form. KP and Viru were their biggest impact player last year. Warner did not even play all the matches, but he did decently too. This year only Warner has played a few decent innings but not at his usual pace. Pitch at Kotla is also not doing it for their pacers which is low and slow this season. Mahela did not do much even last season and it looks like Viru and Mahela both are past their best.
