Don't know if this topic should have been in the IPL forum but IPL is a money-spinning juggernaut which has singlehandedly transformed the way a cricketer is paid. I mean the IPL impact is already greater than the Kerry Packer World Series. Besides that going by how likes of R.D ,VVS ,Clarke,Ponting etc are treated at IPL auctions compared to Pathan,Maxwell etc.....was wondering who would have been huge IPL draws from previous generations. Don't put in every tom,dick and harry from previous generations....just talking about $million$ buys Here are some of my picks- Richards Kapil Dev Cheeka(controversial but can't deny how path-breaking he was for those times) Simon O'Donell Jeff Thompson Imran Khan(if Pakis are allowed :giggle:) given how popular he was in the S.C Aravinda desilva I will stop right there and have you fill in more names.

True but he was past his best by then, a prime McGrath would have been an incredible signing for any team. Lance Klusener and Chris Cairns would have been useful signings.

Joel Garner would be one bowler I would be interested in watching in the IPL.

I watched Garner's career wickets package on Robelinda's channel the other day. I think only about five wickets outta 150+ were claimed by a fielder outside the inner circle Some of those yorkers and the slip catching were breathtaking :clap: Finally, he hardly celebrated his wickets. Something the show ponies Bravo and Faillard can learn from :agree:
