What yes, It was just since the last CT that its 8 teams ... earlier even Kenya used to play in ICC champions Trophy. Don't agree with what people say blindly. And they aren't included to improve the quality of the tournament as said by the ICC. Associates said they want to play in WC which ICC wanted to be a 10 team event and hence ICC decided to make CT a 8-team event with a cut-off date for teams to be in Top-8 ranks for playing in the tournament.

Sorry and you are right, I watched a game of India against Kenya yesterday where SRT scores 80 something and Dravid finished the game with 47. Ranking in Test or ODIs? If its ODIs then wasn't BD few points ahead of NZ few months back?

And few months back doesn't count ... the cut off date was some time in 2011 or early 2012. i don't remember exactly.

A replacement is yet to be named. Ellis, 31, was injured in Christchurch, while training for the three-match ODI series in England and the Champions Trophy. The New Zealand Test squad is already in England for the two-match series that begins on May 16, and the ODI players will leave for the UK on May 21.
