Rob9
delhi police got what they wanted.after they were in bad news of all rape happening in country, they capitalized being in good books with this news. I think they also got enough money to shut their mouth later which is why you don't hear any progress. they ruined life of people like sreesanth without any proof. If they had evidence, court wouldn't spare him. Link to comment

FischerTal
http://www.cricketcountry.com/cricket-articles/N-Srinivasan-set-to-attend-ICC-annual-board-meeting/28060 N Srinivasan set to attend ICC annual board meeting N Srinivasan is all set to represent it at the International Cricket Committee's (ICC) annual board meeting starting from June 25 in London. Srinivasan had stepped aside from the day-to-day functioning of the Indian cricket board and Jagmohan Dalmiya was made the interim BCCI chief. But Srinivasan will go to London as reported by The Indian Express. India is to be in opposition to the proposed uniform implementation of the Decision Review System (DRS) at the ICC meet. It is learnt that top BCCI officials are not averse to Srinivasan attending the meet and continue with India’s current stand on implementation of technology in decision-making. "Srinivasan will attend the meeting on behalf of the BCCI. He has been attending the meetings in the past and is a strong voice when it comes to opposing the decision review system," a BCCI official told The Indian Express. BCCI's newly-appointed secretary Sanjay Patel will accompany Srinivasan to London this Sunday to attend Chief Executives meeting. Srinivasan will be attending ICC annual board conference to be held on June 26. Dalmiya will meet Srinivasan on Thursday in Chennai along with newly-appointed treasurer Ravi Savant and Patel. This is expected to be first meeting of the top BCCI officials since their respective appointments, and it is learnt that all three will not oppose the decision of Srinivasan attending the London meet. "We have no problem if the decision of having use of DRS is left with hosts and visiting board. Let the two boards whose teams are playing should decide. Some of the boards can afford it but not many other members can afford to have use of such a expensive technology," a BCCI insider said. According to sources, Anil Kumble, former India spinner and the chairman of ICC's cricket committee and Sri Lankan batsman Kumar Sangakkara are not fully convinced by the accuracy of the technology. more fodder for bulbul :phehehe: Link to comment
bulbul
Asad Rauf (Pakistani umpire who was officiating in IPL 6): "Do you know my birthday is coming up?" Vindu Dara Singh (film and TV actor): "Asadbhai, don't worry, we will take care of it. I will convey the message to Pawanbhai." Pawan Jaipur (bookie) to Vindu: "I am sending a watch worth Rs 6 lakh and a gold chain for Asad through Prem Taneja (another bookie) in Delhi. Please ask Asad to collect it from Delhi." These conversations, tapped separately in April, are the clearest evidence so far that Rauf, who fled India after his name cropped up in the IPL betting-fixing racket, was hand in glove with the bookies and solicited gifts. The transcript of the conversation tapped through three mobiles of Vindu Dara Singh, arrested for his role in the spot-fixing scandal, was shared with TOI by police sources. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/fixing-hits-ipl/news/Asad-Rauf-got-pricey-gifts-from-bookie-via-Vindu-Dara-Singh/articleshow/20671709.cms Link to comment
rkt.india
IPL scandal: Siddharth Trivedi admits to taking money from bookies New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals' player Siddharth Trivedi, who was made a prosecution witness by Delhi Police in the spot-fixing scandal, admitted to have taken money from bookies which he later returned after a sting scare in 2012. As per reports, Trivedi, in a statement given to Delhi police admitted he had taken Rs 3 lakh - in sums of Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh from alleged bookies Deepak Sharma and Sunil Bhatia. Trivedi also claimed that he returned the money because he was scared when a sting operation trapped seven players last year. He said the sting was an "eye-opener" and he severed all contact with the duo. Earlier, Trivedi, 30, had revealed during his questioning by Delhi police that he was asked by several bookies to spot fix matches in 2012. "Bhatia and Sharma had offered him money for the 2012 IPL, but he declined," an official had said on May 31. Trivedi was contacted by former Rajasthan Royals player Amit Singh for the first time in 2010. Singh was arrested as a bookie in the IPL spot fixing. During a J.P. Atray Memorial Cricket tournament played in Chandigarh in September 2010, Trivedi was contacted by some bookies -- including Deepak Kumar, who has been arrested by Delhi Police. http://ibnlive.in.com/news/cricketnext/ipl-scandal-siddharth-trivedi-admits-to-taking-money-from-bookies/400244-78.html Link to comment

bulbul
But CNN-IBN on Tuesday reported that the BCCI and its boss ignored warnings of corruption having reached the very top of the IPL. On May 31, after CNN-IBN revealed the Mumbai Police's claim that the ICC had alerted the BCCI about Gurunath Meiyappan's alleged betting links, the Indian cricket board went into denial mode almost immediately. But the documents accessed by CNN-IBN of the ICC's April Board meeting suggest that isn't quite true. At this meeting, the head of the ICC's anti corruption unit YP Singh raised questions about owners of certain domestic franchises. A timely warning in hindsight, especially with two IPL team owners coming under police investigation, although there was no evidence to suggest that Singh had raised concerns about Meiyappan and Raj Kundra in particular. http://ibnlive.in.com/news/cricketnext/did-bcci-ignore-warnings-of-corruption-in-ipl/401746-78.html Link to comment

Shambo
I would join this club There is no evidence that Sree is guilty. Only circumstantial evidence-he is being framed or he walked into a trap. Link to comment
