I believe he was the TN president at the time he made the bid.

Now wait and watch how all of these arrested players will be released one after another. It may not be Roy alone but defiantly there is some politics involved here.

It may not be Roy alone but defiantly there is some politics involved here. srini has pissed off a lot of people, domestically and internationally, with his refusal of the DRS,appointment of LSK, etc. This was inevitable to be honest. I heard rumours today that Pawar wants to be BCCI President again, so maybe since his interests were in sync with subroto's, so they could have planned this together. However, for such a plan to be in motion in which Sreesanth, Chandila,and Chavan would be trapped, the planning must have been done even before IPL 6 started.
