Crookbond Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 And yea, IN before Hafeez calls Junaid Khan (or some Paki no name) as the next coming of Jesus Christ.
ganeshran Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Poms are lviing in a bubble if they think Anderson is close to Steyn
CasualVisitor Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 The issue is not as much as he praises Anderson but tries to biggy him up over Steyn. He can praise Anderson as much as he wants but should have left the Steyn comparison out. +1
shortbread Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Steyn does not have the "inswinger". Thats because even before the ball starts swinging its already crashed into the stumps. The only thing more sickening than englands praise for anderson is the man-love most paki guys have for junaid khan!!!!
Holysmoke Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Anderson has more skills than Steyn. just like Rohit Sharma has a better technique than Laxman.
ravishingravi Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 lol this is the reply bumble gives me on twitter when i tell him anderson doesnt even average 30. David 'Bumble' Lloyd @BumbleCricket “: @BumbleCricket Anderson doesn't even average 30. Nowhere in the league of steyn†Obviously you don't know cricket" hmm so i dont know cricket for stating the simple fact that steyn>>>>lightyears>>>>anderson pommies :hehe: :hysterical::hysterical: These freaking Poms
Junyfan Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Thats because even before the ball starts swinging its already crashed into the stumps. The only thing more sickening than englands praise for anderson is the man-love most paki guys have for junaid khan!!!! 1) that does not mean steyn has the " inswinger". 2) Do you think we should start worshiping our "mediocre" batsmen?
rkt.india Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 1) that does not mean steyn has the " inswinger". 2) Do you think we should start worshiping our "mediocre" batsmen? Did you watch Steyn's inswinger yesterday?
shortbread Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 1) that does not mean steyn has the " inswinger". 2) Do you think we should start worshiping our "mediocre" batsmen? Steyn swings the ball both ways and at some pace. Yes he mostly prefers his away going ball but he does have a deadly inswinger. SLICKR392 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 1) that does not mean steyn has the " inswinger". 2) Do you think we should start worshiping our "mediocre" batsmen? He uses the in swinger more like a surprise delivery.
SLICKR392 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I was just about to post that. Indiaregulator must be plotting the next post on Anderson now. I'm still waiting for him to post that "ICF is biased and thus the Zak-Anderson battle is irrelevant here" as I have got a forum or two where the poms themselves disagree with him.
SLICKR392 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Steyn does not have the "inswinger". mRyDgMi67yw There was an other one where he bowled to Vaughn, not sure if an inswing but it looked like it.
rkt.india Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 He uses the in swinger more like a surprise delivery. McGrath never swung the ball in his career. Does it make him inferior to Anderson? :nervous:
SLICKR392 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 McGrath never swung the ball in his career. Does it make him inferior to Anderson? :nervous: No but it does make him inferior to Junaid.
SLICKR392 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Jimmy: I’m no Steyn remover He said: “It’s a lovely thing for Sakes to say — but it’s his opinion. “It’s strange when you hear things like that because I look up to Dale Steyn. “He is obviously very quick. He has the ability to hit people in the head at 90mph and swing the ball. “He is also relentless with his accuracy — a very formidable bowler.” Anderson became only the fourth England bowler — after Ian Botham, Bob Willis and Fred Trueman — to pass 300 Test wickets during the victory over New Zealand in the First Test at Lord’s. It took England’s new-ball leader 81 matches to join that exclusive club. Steyn went past the milestone last year and now has 332 wickets in 65 Tests. Anderson, speaking at Strongbow’s Earn It launch, added: “Steyn is a bowler that everyone looks up to. “When you see someone like him at the top of his game, it makes you want to improve and try to compete with him. “What I try to do is improve as much as I can so I can be the best bowler I possibly can. If that puts me up there with him then, great, but at the moment I see him as comfortably the best in the world.” http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/cricket/4937017/James-Anderson-declares-Im-still-no-Dale-Steyn.html Jimmy agrees but the English pundits don't. :giggle:
vandokkum Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 No but it does make him inferior to Junaid. :hysterical: :yay:
Old guy Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Jimmy: I’m no Steyn remover http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/cricket/4937017/James-Anderson-declares-Im-still-no-Dale-Steyn.html Jimmy agrees but the English pundits don't. :giggle: this is the thing no..ask them both and they will humbly say other guy is very good steyn said similar thing when india toured england and said jimmy right now is probably bowling better than him.. now anderson said steyn is best ..so next time abuse these jokers who made silly comments most of crickeers have great respect for each other:hatsoff:
