who is targeting sreenivasan?

It seems like politics to bring Srinivasan down. Otherwise, why would police specifically arrest Meiyappan for betting ? There are a million people who are involved in betting in India and betting is worth tens of thousands of crores in business. Why not arrest them all ?

BTW, there are other CSK players named by Bindu, so there is much, much more to it

He simply run out of luck and support. Every player in power has infinite number of enemies. But what keeps them in charge is the support from the surrounding. But in this case, the surrounding people are all proper politicians and they do not want this fixing scandal to have their names. Thus, let's put it Sreenivasan is being made a scrapgoat. The idea is to get him and finish/stop the chapter and investigation then.

Srini is just reaping what he's sown for many years now... It's evident that he's a very bullish guy... He's bullied many parties, franchisees. He knows once he goes this way, there'll more investigations against him...

As far as Vindoo Dara Singh and Meiyappan are concerned, its betting they are arrested for. Dont accept anything by tabloid junk in Indian media.

There is no denial. An owner of the team betting illegally using insider information is wrong and Meiyappan should be sacked for it, provided Mumbai police is able to provide evidence in court. However there has been absolutely no evidence or charges of spot fixing against the team or the owner. Equating the two without evidence is absolute BS.

But you can always have doubts. As one can lead to another easily.

You can have doubts about anything but they dont mean jack when they have no basis in reality.

Wow! The head continues to be buried in the sand. According to the guy's interview he had access to team sheets 2 hours before the match and an influence in deciding the playing XI. While betting he would ignore that information.

If he is guilty for betting based on having information about teams, toss decisions etc he should be punished. But that is different from spot fixing which suggests player involvement and there is not a shred of evidence so far regarding that. People throwing spot fixing regarding this issue are being irresponsible.

An owner of the team betting illegally using insider information is wrong and Meiyappan should be sacked for it,
How does this implicate the team in spot fixing?
