CG Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 If you're hate is against Dhoni then probably it may not even happen. Sandip Patil is not that kind of man. Patil is precisely the kind of a dog which is needed for such tasks.
Marut Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 2-5 solar eclipses occur every year. Indian cricket will be no different. If not cement mama, then another steel mama or mobile mama will cause the next eclipse.
Crookbond Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Patil is precisely the kind of a dog which is needed for such tasks. He won't be swayed by public sentiment; he's a hard man - very hard man.

That's quite derogatory but not going to happen.
Crookbond Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 the_hindu: Bindra says #BCCI Working Committee meeting a sham, public taken for a ride
Crookbond Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 "I asked for a clarification on whether Srinivasan will step aside for the duration of the BCCI probe or the whole police investigation. Mr Jaitley said the investigation could go on for three-four years so let us limit it to the BCCI-constituted panel, Sundar Raman-appointed panel rather." - IS Bindra "Mr Kumble made general observations that we must restore the faith of the fans. He didn't make any specific suggestion." - IS Bindra "Mr Srinivasan said in his opening remarks that Mr Jaitley had asked him to step aside in Kolkata, and he had not agreed then. But he is agreeing to it now." - IS Bindra "'Who made these committee,' I asked. Srinivasan said, 'I don't know.'. I asked Professor Shetty, and he said a committee named the probe panel. That committee consisted of Sundar Raman, Shetty, Peter Griffith [from IMG], and Raman [the BCCI lawyer]." - IS Bindra "My stand is not connected in any way with any politics. I have never met Mr Kamal Nath. I have never spoken to Mr Jyotiraditya Scinida on this matter. Nobody can influence me. I did what my heart said. This was my decision." - Sanjay Jagdale "I don't know if Srinivasan will continue to represent India in the ICC meetings." - Sanjay Jagdale
saneindian Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Could this be the reason behind Bindra's bitterness with Srini? May 18, 2012 Bindra's tenure in ICC set to end No one in the ICC was willing to talk about Bindra’s future as yet but the officials of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) openly admit that the 71-year-old Punjab Cricket Association president’s Dubai stint is set to end. It is no secret that Bindra no longer enjoys the best of relations with the current BCCI officials, and it is a given that the Indian board will not plead for his extension. The appointment of Bindra had not gone down well with the then ICC chief executive officer (CEO) Malcolm Speed, but the Australian had little choice but work with him. It was not known how Speed’s successor Haroon Lorgat — who too incidentally will be out of the ICC next month — perceived Bindra’s continued presence as a parallel power centre, but both managed to co-exist for the last four years. Bindra got a two-year extension in 2010. Bindra used to work in ICC’s ambitious globalisation project and, in particular, he was entrusted with the job of taking cricket to China and the US. He used to attend the executive board meetings and drew an annual salary of $200,000. Converted into rupees, that is roughly Rs1 crore a year.
