Mariyam Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Thanks to Sidhu' date=' I have regained a lot of hindi words which had totally gone out of my hinglish vocab- [i']Kautoohal, bhujang, palatwar, stambh, kargar, garal, margdarshan, milaap and many more. As annoying as his commentary is, on days like yesterday when we did well, at times its fun to listen to him. Perhaps one commentator who is equally adept in both the languages. Absolutely love Siddhu the post game host and the commentator. The guy is a genius and is equally articulate in Hindi, Urdu, English and Punjabi. He brilliantly juxtaposes an odd shlok in Sanskrit along with an Urdu sher. When you have such a literary genius on the microphone it matters not if what he's speaking is relevant/factually correct or not. There have been numerous instances when I wouldn't watch an IPL game but would tune into extra innings just to catch Siddhu talk.
sscomp32 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Dada still is the best of them all in Hindi.:two_thumbs_up:. But siddhu goes OTT every 5 mins . Some of his words are too pure that it takes times to understand. Yesterday Sunny G and siddhu went mad in the SA innings, especially Sunny G was hilarious :hysterical:. Only Kapil dev seems like he is out of breath. :giggle:
sscomp32 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Sidhu has glomourised hindi commentary :two_thumbs_up:
sscomp32 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Arun Lal and Rameez Raza are good in hindi. Sidhu becomes pain to the ears after 5 minutes' date=' [b']Sanjay manjrekar is pathetic in hindi. This. :two_thumbs_up: I just can't bear him. :whack:
