Best Hindi Commentator in this year's CT?

Sidhu has best grammer, he is a purist. Rest use Indianized Urdu. Infact Rameez has better Hindi skills than most of Indian commies.

Arun Lal and Rameez Raza are good in hindi. Sidhu becomes pain to the ears after 5 minutes, Sanjay manjrekar is pathetic in hindi.

He speaks more of Urduish Hindi.. Pure Hindi is difficult for some of us to understand!

there is no urduish hindi... It's either Urdu or Hindi .. and they both share a lot of common terminology and grammar. I don't think any Pakistani commentator gives a commentary in Hindi... while I'm sure a lot of Hindi commentators use Urdu words.

Many urdu words are an acceptable part of hindi now. Sign of a good language is how well it assimilates other languages. And its also is the reason why english is so rich and so widely spoken

Thanks to Sidhu, I have regained a lot of hindi words which had totally gone out of my hinglish vocab- Kautoohal, bhujang, palatwar, stambh, kargar, garal, margdarshan, milaap and many more. As annoying as his commentary is, on days like yesterday when we did well, at times its fun to listen to him. Perhaps one commentator who is equally adept in both the languages.

Actually there is urduish hindi. It's called hindustani. That's what most people speak as "hindi" in India. The purest hindi is spoken in MP. Pure Urdu is spoken in Pakistan. Also maybe some muslim households in UP. eg Pure Hindi - Bhojan bara swadisht hai Pure Urdu - Khana bara lazeez hai Most people would say - Khana bara swadisht hai
