gakgupta Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 I saw yesterday s match in patches and pak bowling looked absolutely wonderful. Wicket of sarwan was from the top drawer. Its a condusive pitch for bowling but still hitting 145 kmph at will; that too with good line length was just incredible. Unfortunatly india doesnt get any close to the pak bowling standards. Hope that day will come when india have 3 world class pace bowlers
Hur Rizvi Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Actually none of our pacers are world class, Fast bowlers are good but still they have flaws specially wahab who is way too inconsistent .......
gaurav92 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 West Indies, Pakistan and England have the best bowling attack in this tourney :nice:
Hur Rizvi Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Yadav is as fast as Wahab, and quicker than Junaid and Irfan
Jersey #10 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 nope! Anderson, Broad, Swann! Starc bowled very well today too. Watto was freaking bowling at 143kph today
Hur Rizvi Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 nope! Anderson, Broad, Swann! Starc bowled very well today too. Watto was freaking bowling at 143kph today Bro, Starc was pathetic today though he is a very good bowler
Clarke Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Even though they have just two types of bowlers (left arm quicks & right arm offies) they still have a good amount of variety. If Riaz can hold it together, they are the best bowling lineup. May Allah bless their batting :--D
gaurav92 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Junaid did no bowl yorkers yesterday, he kept bowling back of the length and that proved to be a big setback for Pak. He is a swing bowler and not a hit the deck kind of a bowler. he must get his ball up there for the batsman to drive on most occasions irrespective of the nature of the track. And his death bowling is a big plus. He has good variations with the slower ones, bowl tight yorkers at decent pace. Only thing is that he needs consistence. Irfan with his height can trouble a lot of batsman. His back of the length ball at pace can just be the perfect short delivery for most of the batsman. But his problem again is that he is not a good death bowler. He needs to get it right upfront. Wahab has been the most impressive bowler for Pak. He just needs to bowl a steady line and the rest of the things will take care of themselves. H bowls some unplayable jaffas at the same time dishes some absolute trash. If he gets the consistency going, he will be more than a handful :)
Rocky Balboa Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Yep. Its not easy to play against three 90 mph bowlers bowling at ur throat. They have the best bowling line up. India might find it difficult to cope up against their bowling.
vvvslaxman Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Maintaining intensitywise they are definitely the best. They just did not relent. Other teams don't maintain the pressure by bowling tight without much freebies.. IN Pak case all 5 did against Windies.
velu Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 padosi bowling is as good as any other team currently .. but even their current bowling is nowhere close to their 1999 team.. akhtar , wasim , waqar , saqi + non-trundling razzaq was a beast lineup :nervous:
Hafeez Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 padosi bowling is as good as any other team currently .. but even their current bowling is nowhere close to their 1999 team.. akhtar , wasim , waqar , saqi + non-trundling razzaq was a beast lineup :nervous: Wasim V Irfan Waqar V Junaid Akthar V Wahab (Speed wise Akthar faster 5kph) Saqalin V Ajmal (Same both bowl doosre very well) Azhar/Razzaq V Hafeez (I Will go with Hafeez)

Hur Rizvi Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Mohd Irfan at current form can beat Wasim akram Irfan after comeback 9 Matche,s 19 wicket,s Ave-18 Bowling at 140kph Plus Also have advantage of 7 foot That,s why i was use to call him Lethal Irfan Irfan Doesnt beat wasim at any stage of his career, Wasim was all class....... Irfan has still a long way to go to be compared to a great like Wasim
Hur Rizvi Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Wasim V Irfan Waqar V Junaid Akthar V Wahab (Speed wise Akthar faster 5kph) Saqalin V Ajmal (Same both bowl doosre very well) Azhar/Razzaq V Hafeez (I Will go with Hafeez) Razzaq was a much better bowler and batsman compared to hafeez in 99 Razzaq could win matches with both bat and ball
Jersey #10 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Lethal Irfan vs Short ball Raina should be fun watch a week from today
Hafeez Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Irfan Doesnt beat wasim at any stage of his career, Wasim was all class....... Irfan has still a long way to go to be compared to a great like Wasim Not comparing with Wasim Thought but at Current form Irfan look,s Lethal at the Moment
vvvslaxman Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Irfan Doesnt beat wasim at any stage of his career, Wasim was all class....... Irfan has still a long way to go to be compared to a great like Wasim Mo Irfan is a bit of success because of his gigantic size. Teams are still getting used to his height and bounce he extracts. In terms of sheer skills where Akram could make the ball talk from couple of paces, Mo Irfan is no match.
