fineleg Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Against a good England attack 115 after 30 overs Need 155 in 20 overs at 7.88 Need a boundary every over or every other over, and consistent singles and twos Perfect time for S.Waugh, M.Bevan partnership? Does Aus have such players coming up in current lineups? Aus-A?
gaurav92 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Bailey is a good player, but other than him, Watto and Clarke, rest are useless. :((
saneindian Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 As great as Waugh-Bevan were (Waugh not so much in ODis except for a few knocks), when exactly did they help successfully chase 155 in 20 overs or 7-8 runs an pov..would love to see an example.

vvvslaxman Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 One game that I recollect was against SAF' date=' chasing 300 odd they got very close.[/quote'] There was one match against Asia XI , Bevan came very close to winning the match. http://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/102/102308.html They lost by 1 run chasing 320.
gaurav92 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/match/65567.html LOL not really 300 odd target, but a traget of 241. But the RR was around 7-7.5, and they had to find a boundary every over.

rkt.india Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 dont think even Waugh-bevan would win a match from such high RRR.
