Look I'm not interested in what happens to Amit Shah...all I'm interested is in the investigation of Vadra Land deals in Rajasthan... If there's no initiative in this regards by BJP then I'm afraid, you too should be concerned about you blind support to BJP... It's a golden chance to investigate against the"family"... BJP shouldn't make the same mistake like ABV...

CBI, MHA in tussle over Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case http://www.deccanchronicle.com/140611/nation-current-affairs/article/cbi-mha-tussle-over-ishrat-jahan-fake-encounter-case Always knew that pushing all Gujrat related cases under carpet would be very high on the agenda of Modi Government, but didn't know they would be in so much of hurry. If there ever was any chance of truth coming out in public, has gone away with BJP victory in these elections. Why MHA wants to interfere in the probe? To save their Lieutenants who were involved in killing? To save Amit Shah?

New Delhi: A fresh tussle seems to be in the offing between the Union home ministry and the CBI with the latter expressing its reservation over the issue of sharing its ‘case diary’ pertaining to the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case, involving former IB officials, as required by the ministry. The agency has sought legal opinion over the issue amidst the possibility that the move will further delay the CBI's decision to prosecute IB officials in the case. “The CBI’s contention is that sharing the case diary with the MHA would be against the principles of the CrPC. Under section 172 of the CrPC, 1973 the probing officer, after concluding its probe, files it final report before the magistrate only,” a source said. “In the cases where sanction for prosecution of an official is sought from the government the CBI provides the sanctioning authorities with details of the case. We also have meetings with them to explain our case. It is strange that the Union home ministry is seeking the case diary in this case. We have sought legal opinion on the issue”, sources added.

MHA has the right to ask for the diary or some evidence at least before an IB officer gets prosecuted. You can't give a blind "go ahead".
No one other than Magistrate and Judge has right to look at the evidences. These are blatant attempts by Modi government to undermine whole judicial process to save skin of some of it's own. You don't need to be even intelligent to understand that.

Ishrat Jahan fake encounter theory falling like ninepins http://www.oneindia.com/india/ishrat-jahan-fake-encounter-theory-falling-like-ninepins-1771098.html LeT clearly claimed Ishrat and her accomplices to be their operatives who were sent on an assignment to assassinate Modi(When the incident first took place in the year 2004, the Ghazwa Times, a Lahore based mouth piece of the Lashkar-e-Taiba claimed that Ishrat Jahan was their operative. They even commended her sacrifice). This was further confirmed by a statement of David Headly when interrogated by FBI. It's a shame that our heroic officers are being vilified for simply carrying out their duty in interest of National Security. However, her folks(Muslims, Communists, media, AAPtards, Congressis, other secularists) refuse to accept the fact that she was anything but an innocent girl. Conspiracy theories, media manipulation, lies, lies, more lies, can't they for one minute be more patriotic and applaud our bravehearts who selflessly put their bodies on the line without any recognition/money incentives so that we can have a safe night's sleep !!! Is being ungrateful in their DNA?

It is strange that Ishrat was retroactively declared a terrorist based on some blog post OR some publication (Ghazwa times :haha: ) nobody has ever heard of . Perhaps people should stop believing the words of Terrorists and their propaganda ? Headley's hearsay 6 years after her death would have been thrown out of court if she was alive and facing trial.

This is a news report from July 2004, the month after the terrorist Ishrat was killed.
LeT mouthpiece says Ishrat a member July 14, 2004 20:30 IST A Pakistani daily affiliated to Lashkar-e-Tayiba claimed that Ishrat Jehan was a member of the terror outfit. Lahore-based Ghazwa Times said, "The veil of Ishrat Jahan, a woman activist of LeT, was removed by Indian police and her body was kept with other Mujahideens (terrorists) on the ground." "Ishrat was with her husband sitting on the front seat of the car," said the newspaper report. Two Indians and two Pakistanis, all alleged LeT suicide squad members, were gunned down by Gujarat police in the wee hours of June 15 on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. Besides Ishrat from Mumbra in Mumbai, others killed were Javed Sheikh of Pune, Jishan Johar alias Abdul Ghani from Gujranwala (Pakistan) and Amjadali Akbarali Rana alias Salim of Haveli Diwan (Pakistan). The killing of Ishrat sparked a major debate with some groups claiming her to be innocent. However, the findings of the Gujarat and Mumbai police had pointed to her involvement in militant and anti-national activities. http://www.rediff.com/news/2004/jul/14ishrat.htm

As far as what Ghazwa Times was (it has since shut down), here is an excerpt from a book on the Lashkar-e-Taiba. 96dh8p.pngStorming the World Stage: The Story of Lashkar-e-Taiba By Stephen Tankel. https://books.google.co.in/books?id=7k1uBAAAQBAJ&pg=PA94&lpg=PA94&dq=ghazwa+times+Lashkar&source=bl&ots=xdzKl4DT_b&sig=ubNqf2qs_bEJYZ3YfQuxeNM1ln8&hl=en&sa=X&ei=Elh2Vc6XN-K3mAW484GIAw&ved=0CCMQ6AEwAQ#v=onepage&q=ghazwa%20times%20Lashkar&f=false

Breaking news... Amit Shah gets clean chit in this case from CBI... Looks like the 'request to Vasundhara Raje to investigate Vadra' clinched the deal... If BJP doesn't investigates the Vadra land deals in Rajasthan then SHAME ON IT.... I'd be seriously contemplating supporting AAP instead of BJP....
They haven't done anything against Vadra till now. :--D

The UPA govt took great pains to get custody of Headley and at least interrogate him. But when he revealed "uncomfortable things" they deliberately disbelieved him.

Ishrat Jahan was an LeT fidayeen: Headley NEW DELHI: Pakistani American terrorist David Headley has said that Ishrat Jahan, the Mumbai girl who was killed along with three alleged terrorists in 2004 in a police encounter, was indeed a Lashkar-e-Taiba fidayeen. Sources said Headley told interrogators from the National Investigation Agency that Ishrat, a resident of Mumbra in Thane, was recruited by top Lashkar commander Muzammil who was in charge of LeT's operations in India till 2007. The statement, while confirming that Headley is a trove of information on Lashkar's plans against India, corroborates the version of Gujarat police as well as the Centre in what has turned into a controversial case because of doubts about the veracity of the police version. Importantly, Headley's statement tallies with claim of Gujarat cops and the Centre that Muzammil had sent Ishrat and her accomplices to Gujarat on a terror mission as part of Lashkar's plan to attack the Indian hinterland and target VIPs. Headley's visits to India for reconaissance missions for Lashkar started in 2006, sources said, when Muzammil was Lashkar's chief commander in India. Lashkar had owned up Ishrat immediately after the encounter, with its Lahore-based mouthpiece 'Ghazwa Times' describing her as an LeT activist and taking umbrage at the action of Indian cops in removing her veil. In 2007, however, Lashkar, in its fresh incarnation as Jamaat-ud-Dawa, disowned her, by issuing an apology to Ishrat's family for calling her an LeT cadre. The timing of the apology was significant. It came just before Gopinath Pillai, father of Javed Sheikh alias Pranesh Pillai who was killed along with Ishrat, filed a petition in the Supreme Court, demanding a CBI probe into the encounter. Headley's statement that Ishrat was recruited to be a fidayeen undercuts Lashkar's attempt to disown her, though it may not settle doubts about the genuineness of the encounter in which she was killed. Ishrat and Javed were killed along with two Pakistani nationals -- Amjad Ali and Jishan Johar Abdul Ghani -- both alleged LeT terrorists, on June 15, 2004. According to the police version, they were intercepted on the outskirts of Ahmedabad when they were about to enter the city in a blue Indica on a mission to eliminate chief minister Narendra Modi. In her petition to the Gujarat High Court, Ishrat's mother Shamima Kausar had disputed the version of the Gujarat police as well as the Centre, claiming that her daughter was a saleswoman working for Javed Sheikh who dealt in perfumes. Javed's father told the SC that his son was innocent and sought a central probe. Both Gujarat police and Centre pointed to infirmities in their version. Centre told Gujarat HC that Javed had been recruited by LeT when he was in Dubai. Gopinath Pillai had not disclosed criminal cases pending against his son, or the fact that he had obtained a different passport using his original name even though the one issued to him was still valid. The Centre also disputed the claim of Gopinath Pillai, supported by Ishrat's mother, that he was in the business of perfumes and that this required him and Ishrat to travel across the country. The Gujarat HC had set Monday as the deadline for all parties concerned to submit their replies to the petitions from the parents of Ishrat and Javed, seeking a CBI probe into the alleged encounter. The case has taken on significance after a CBI probe established that Sohrabuddin, an alleged gangster, was killed by Gujarat cops in a fake encounter. It has also established that Tulsidas Prajapati, a small-time criminal who helped Gujarat cops nab Sohrabuddin, was also eliminated by the police to wipe out evidence. Headley's account underlines his importance as a repository of crucial information on Lashkar and its plans on India. His statement to the NIA team that LeT founder Hafiz Saeed was engaged with the 26/11 attackers all through the plot has reinforced India's demand that Pakistan take action against the Lashkar chief. Sources described the information given by the Pakistani American terrorist as "vital inputs". http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Ishrat-Jahan-was-an-LeT-fidayeen-Headley/articleshow/6129125.cms

This is a news report from July 2004' date=' the month [b']after the terrorist Ishrat was killed.
Hence retroactively . It does not matter if it was Times of Gazwa or the Daily Gazwa or The Gazwa Herald . If she was alive and facing trial , newspaper headlines would not have been accepted as evidence before a court of Law and certainly not PROPAGANDA pamphlets by Terrorist Groups. Supreme Court is very clear on Hearsay . And headley's so-called testimony about a dead person SIX YEARS after her death would also have been thrown out by the court. But this begs the question , Why are some Indians so anxious to completely believe Terrorist propaganda of Let and Headley :hmmm: A few questions these gullible Indians need to ask themselves : Is it possible that headley and LeT were lying or wrong ? What evidence existed BEFORE Ishrat was murdered , that she had committed Terrorist acts or was about to commit Terrorist acts ? Yes there was an IB alert , but do you know what it said ?

Lol people believing what Gazwa times says. Do very same people believe all the things that Gazwa times say? I read some of my previous posts. Surprised that I had defended Modi vigorously in this thread.
Yes, you did. Why you changed :((
so why this little justice has to start from Modi all the time? Riots happened in India all the time but Modi should be fixed first. Encounters happened all over India, but the ones under Modi should be investigated first for little justice. At one point it starts seeming like *****-hunt.
Somethings are very clear with this investigation even after CBI attempting to downplay thingsas per their convenience. - Group of 4 that was travelling in that Indica was no way a group of innocent people. Atleast few of them, if not all, were terrorists beyond any reasonable doubt. - There were confirmed intelligence reports, received by Gujrat police, that atleast some people of that group have intentions of carrying out terrorist activities in Gujrat. - Ishrat name is being highlighted to give whole group a look of innocent victims. But it was not the case where innocents were picked randomly and killed to get accolades as widely reported by media. - Encounter is most likely to be fake one. There should be action against police officers involved in these killings. - Pity people giving so much credence to a denial posted on the website of LeT. Seriously now we are going t believe what LeT says? Then Taliban always denied being involved in 9/11. Tell that to America.
