kumar713 Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 The next Round 2 match-up is a battle of the quicks. Fred Spofforth v Dennis Lillee, who's your pick? Vote now: http://cricketa.us/14F5bWx
Sean Bradley Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Pretty straightforward isnt it? Sir Don Bradman
SLICKR392 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Bradman's isn't winning this one. Punter's gonna clean this up.
FischerTal Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 mcgrath will steamroll lillee. punter vs warne will be interesting
India-KXIP fan Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Would bet 11.1 billion on: Quarters: McGrath Lillee Punter Warne Bradman Waugh Gilly Taylor Semis: Bradman McGrath Gilly Punter Final McGrath :king: :punter:
StriKe Posted July 2, 2013 Author Posted July 2, 2013 Round 2: Warne v Benaud http://www.cricket.com.au/news-list/2013/7/2/round-2-warne-v-benaud
Robelinda Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Warnie any day over Punter. Cant say im a big fan of either though. But Warnie was the better cricketer.
SLICKR392 Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 McGrath vs Lilee and Waugh vs Bradman. Good contest this. Hope Waugh nails it.
Sachin=GOD Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 McGrath vs Lilee and Waugh vs Bradman. Good contest this. Hope Waugh nails it. Bradman it will be in the end but it should be between McGrath & Warne IMO.
Robelinda Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 I'd rate McGrath ahead of Warne, easily in fact. Waugh vs McGrath, tough. A team of great bowlers wont always win much (see Pakistan in Australia, zero series wins), and a team of great batsmen wont win much (see India in Australia zero series wins). Hard to pick between one batsmen and one bowler.
Crookbond Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 McGrath vs Lilee and Waugh vs Bradman. Good contest this. Hope Waugh nails it. Lillee and Bradman - for me.
StriKe Posted July 3, 2013 Author Posted July 3, 2013 Round 2: Lawry v Bradman http://www.cricket.com.au/news-list/2013/7/3/round-2-bradman-v-lawry
vayuu1 Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 For me top five aus cricketer are 1)bradmen 2)warne 3)spoforth 4)McGrath 5)border Some might be surprised that I inducted border, but greatness doesn't mean you have to perform individually, greatness means how ur greatness can effect ur team in a positive way for a longer period,he for me was the guy who led to the foundation of the Aussie dominance later on which was cemented by Taylor and Waugh, cashed in by punter.
Muloghonto Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 No Gilly ? Definitely more important than Spofforth IMO.
