Temujin Khaghan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 lets say we bring that team to england in a time machine and make them play a best of 3 one day series against this team... provided there is no rain and the conditions are 1st match seaming conditions (like sri lanka semi finals) 2nd match aids spin 3rd match batting paradise also that team is yet to play finals, so *that thrashing* didn't happen yet. so their confidence is still high who will win? that team in case u forgot (players on 2003 Semi final form and age) Tendulkar Sehwag Ganguly * kaif dravid (wk) yuvraj mongia harbhajan zaheer srinath nehra this team now rohit dhawan kohli karthik raina dhoni * (wk) jadeja ashwin bhuvi ishanth yadav ----------- poll says 2011 CT team... just saw ... sry:--D ------------ i think CT 2013 team will be thrashed in a best of 3 series. 0-3 for me
Temujin Khaghan Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 kaif and mongia are ordinary in 2003 team also if dhawan can strike hard in the first few overs, "that zaheer" will spray all over the practice pitch next to the pitch the match is being played on :cantstop:
Temujin Khaghan Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 but against 2003 team's bowling, i have less hopes on rohit, karthik, raina, jadeja ability to counter them ishanth, yadav, jadeja will recieve a thrashing from sehwag, tendulkar, ganguly, yuvraj
JaFanatic Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Which team is Jadeja in? in CT team end of thread :cantstop:

India-KXIP fan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 kohli better than ganguly???? :withstupid: Easily. :WTF: Yeah I don't remember the WC, except SRT did well and the Pak game. I remember thinking how chit Zakk was in final, 5 wides 1st ball, like 30 runs in first 2 overs. Set the tone. I used to think zakk was a bad bowler until I started following regularly and he became good. So 2003 zakk < most bowlers.
India-KXIP fan Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Average 40 > Average 50 22 centuries in 350 matches > 13 in a hundred Strike rate 70 > Strike rate 90 Kohli is also better in field, runs faster between wickets, will have a better W/L as kaptaan and is more complete player in his batting :hehe:

Kohli currently averages higher in ODI's than Ganguly in England, SA and Australia. Above 50 in Aus, SA, above 45 in England and is well ahead of Ganguly. Anything else? :haha:
