Rohit - 6 ( For his Fielding and giving a sold opening partnership.He got out twice in similar way in semis and final :facepalm: ) Dhawan - 10 ( :hatsoff: :bow:) Kohli - 7 ( Stepped up in Semi/Final + Fielding - Run out in Pakistan match :clap:) Karthik - 5 ( Nothing much after 2'100 in warmup but overall did well with bat and fielding) Raina - 5(Didn't get much chance to bat + Superb in fielding and slip) Dhoni - 7(Captaincy + Catches + 4 Stumping - was :nice: Best captain :-D ) Jadeja - 10 ( the Sir) Ashwin - 7.5 ( Took crucial wickets and good catches at slips) B Kumar/U Yadav - 7 I sharma = -1 :giggle:

Bowled superbly hostile in that match getting extra bounce, picked up top order wickets of Sanga and Thiramanne, bowled economically, played a big role in winning SF. People have short memories. He bowled brilliantly against WI too bar last over when match was already in India's hands, conceded 22 runs in his first 9 overs.

Ishant's stats look shockingly good: 10 wickets @ 21 @ 5.73, but managed to nearly screw up when it mattered. Looked every bit NOT a bowler who has over 50 tests under his belt and is apparently the leader of the attack. Continues to be a liability on the field and inspire no confidence with his demeanour. Another delusion person. So winning MOM in SF does not matter. He was the main reason, we could do so well in SF. Did well against WI too. Two most important wickets in final.

Yes, in that WI match he was very good too.

Sehwag mould of quick reflexes not as attacking but still effective) Kohli - 7 (pushed up due to final performance...rose to the pressure) Karthik - 3 (NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE IN THE TEAM AS BATSMAN!!) Raina - 5 Dhoni - 7 Jadeja - 9 (ohhhh raviiii jadegaaa. Still to see whether he can hack it with bat+tests, but potential to be next Kapil Dev in ODI's) Ashwin - 8.5 B Kumar - 8 I sharma - 7.5 (one of the leading wicket takers, he almost lost us it but then he ended up taking 2 crucial wickets!) U Yadav - 7 (good final and semi, went for runs in early overs but overall impressed)
Sidhoni Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 why Dhwan/Bhuvi? 3/32 isn't enough? BK had just 1 wicket. Dhawan played a good knock top scoring.. Bhuvi bowled superbly upfront giving away just 18 in 9 overs. That build the pressure which led to the wickets. Ishant's 3rd wicket was a bit flukey
