The students wrote a MATLAB code which would take three variables, location of the ball pitched, location of the impact and dimensions of the wickets and find out whether the hawk-eye trajectory mapped was correct or not. Also, if the trajectory was wrong, it would map the correct trajectory. According to the students, the code can be divided into four parts. The first part is to load the image and convert it into grayscale. The second part is to obtain points using data cursor in MATLAB figure bars and then draw a spline from the location where the ball pitched to the point of impact. The third part is to draw a trajectory from point of impact to the wickets. This is done by creating a slope that will add in the point of impact with the length given to it. The fourth and last part is to give the decision. They have been hammered by their so called arch nemesis in all global tourneys. In fact the gap between us and Pakis has been widened to a chasm with us winning 6 global tourneys and them stuck at measly 2. For them it's an escape from reality by inventing excuses rather than face the truth they are cr@p. This is the mentality which has seen them stuck in the same spot forever and why they are a failed state. Coz they don't believe in holding themselves accountable for anything. It's always someone's fault or it's a conspiracy theory related to BCCI/ICC/RAW/MOSSAD etc. Be it fixing, incompetency at global tourneys or anything wrong with their system, it's always someone's fault. We could have done the same after losing 0-8 but I'm glad we accepted we were cr@p and our players were over the hill and phased them out. In less than a year we have moved on from likes of Laxman, Dravid, Gambhir, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Harbhajan with Zak & SRT about to retire soon as well. And look at the results! We white-washed Aussies 4-0 and have won Champions trophy remaining unbeaten the whole tourney :hatsoff: Sometimes it takes courage to face reality and admit you are headed the wrong way, but if you make excuses for every failure you stuck at the same spot and won't improve ever. No wonder Pakis are owned every time when they face us in global tourneys and they recycle the same set of failures coz they never admit they are cr@p in the first place. I say let them believe in these conspiracy theories coz in 2015 WC we are gonna kick their @$$ once again and they will come up with another excuse and the cycle will continue I, and other ICFers, aren't complaining at all.

When it's ball tampering, throwing (Akhtar, Ajmal) etc. it's all fair play but somehow when they lose it's due to some supernatural reasons. I am sure they have excuses for every hammering by India in global tourneys and also why we have 6 world titles and they are stuck at 2 :haha:

On a ball of Saeed Ajmal, Sachin Tendulkar was adjudged LBW by the field umpire. Tendulkar went for referral and the decision was overturned. In the following figure, the hawk-eye projection with the help of which decision was overturned is shown. The figure shows that the trajectory has been tampered and the code also found out that the trajectory was tampered by an angle of 18.826 degrees. Heights of creativity and innovation!! Vijayakanth would be proud! Hawkeye RIP.
