CB series 2008 had no DRS and if that went to the 3rd umpire - it would have been OUT. You must be kidding me if you do not see any nick there. I do not see any reason why the nationality of the uploader is relevant to the discussion.

DRS is for Players.. but umpire could refer on his own to third umpire if he wants some assistance to take decision on it.. there was some noise.. but still my point was.. many times even I play cricket, we cannot feel some of the nicks, I felt this is one of that case.. anyways.. I used nationality on lighter note.. as most of the Aussies hates domination of India on their teams.. so, I thought it would be also the same way to mislead or show the world that other players are wrong or something like that.. no offense to anyone.. I didn't mean it too personal.. I apologies if anyone hurts with that comment.

First, the umpires then could NOT refer technology for edges. Second of all, this discussion was on Tendulkar not walking - you may have a point that Tendulkar wouldn't have felt the edge out there and you may be right but there's no way to know. For now, it seems like Tendulkar did not walk even when there was a nick. Btw, there is another incident of Tendulkar not walking after a bat-pad (the ball hit the glove), of Saqlain Mushtaq IIRC in the Dhaka Independence Cup 1998. There's no way Tendulkar wouldn't have known the ball did not hit his glove. This is the same series where Hrishikesh Kanitkar hit a boundary to deliver a win of the final over to India.

Yes. It hit the tip of the shoe lace(the plastice part) and simultaneously the ball got past the bat. It was difficult to judge even for the batsman.

As a sportsman, you got to accept the wrong decisions from the umpire so you will always be lucky. No batsman can be upheld for not walking.

This whole concept of walking non-walking is cr@ppy. As a sportsman, you got to accept the wrong decisions from the umpire so you will always be lucky. No batsman can be upheld for not walking.
