Sangakkara and Amla are the best players of spin in test matches IMO.

In Bangalore Aus batted first and Clarke scored century on day 1 when the pitch was very flat.Dont think it shows his quality against spin bowling imo

Actually he was out even before his 50 when he edged to keeper but umpire did not give him out like last series where he got hundred when he edged to silly point and umpire did not give him out

Dude Pujara averages a grand 10.33 in away tests and you are comparing him to Clarke. Sure spinning tracks are deadly in India but it's not as hard as playing in foreign conditions. Isn't it factually known by now that playing away is harder than home?

But English conditions are not exactly really away conditions for Clark or for that matter any Aussie batsman. They play such conditions in their domestic cricket day in day out.

Clarke's ability is rated due to the success he has had against S.C teams and in those conditions...Don't have the patience to pull up stats but up until the recent 4-0 series,I beleive he has performed extremely well in India and I also remember he did well against Srilanka as well.

Averages 20 something against Bang Bros and 48 against SL and never played in Pak/UAE...So 39 odd in Asia But again averages 54.00 in ODI's,But obviously nothing that great to declare his ability against Spin Just thought that because this is not a new thing,I have heard many times before in ODI's and Tests when he was batting,commentrators were going crazy about his footwork against spin

They think that just going down the wicket to negate the turn is great footwork against spinners. Overall, I feel he is just average. World cricket doesn't really have great spinners playing in this era as against the prior era, so he gets away with it many times. But, on turning wickets, Jadeja just exploited how that tactic doesn't always work.

If Pakistan and India introduced good pitches ala 2004 2nd and 3rd tests then it would be a bigger test rivalry too. England v Australia is good but it can be mechanical and some of the passion from Pattinson looked really fake. Damn politics.
