Apart from Zaheer and few fifers by Irfan (primarily againts BD and zimboks) none of our Indian pacers have taken enough fifers. Stuart Broad, Vernon Philander take lot of fifers these days. RIchard Hadlee :hatsoff:

Since his retirement Zak is the only one who would pick up fifers occasionally. Others like sreesanth, ishant, rp singh.. once in a blue moon.

On a side note.. India's most of the fifers came from spinners. Ashwin in a brief career has claimed 7 fifers.

Teams have multiple bowlers that chip in these days. Post 2000 especially post McGrtah, teams have had victories based on multiple bowlers bowing in tandem and hunting as a group. Post Srinath even India have tasted test victories when multiple bowlers have chipped with 2/3 wickets and not with michelles. Balaji-Irfan in 2004 Pak. Zak-RPS in Eng 2007, Ishant/RPS/Kumble in Aus 2008, Sree/Zak in SA 2010 etc.
