Haarkarjeetgaye Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Where is the option for Aaron? His pace might be useful against the other inexperienced guys in the lankan middleorder you have to drop one of the spinners. doesnt look likely at this point
maniac Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 you have to drop one of the spinners. doesnt look likely at this point Instead of Mohit......Shami may be the safer bet
Trundler27 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 have to give credit where it's due... his spell was a game changer today for sure.... i was expecting saf to choke on their own but the choke-hold was applied by ashwin instead.... and what about kohli too :hatsoff: on to the finals fellas... all the best to team India
King Tendulkar Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 His new big turning carom ball / leggie what ever it is. He is perfecting it and is a massive weapon now
rainy day Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I'd go with Aaron, he troubled Dilshan massively in the warm up. SL has some old guys at the top who'll be too slow for sheer pace.
King Tendulkar Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 come on KT Shami has a terrible T20 record.Just have a look for yourself. Not the best IPL record and not the best international t20 record in the games he has played So you would go with mohit?
Dil Dil India Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Lol :hysterical: Fatwin will retire and play carrom full- time after SL batters are done with the over rated, cheating pie chucker.Funny how retarded fans forget the crap this loser dished out in the last two years causing India to lose embarrassingly home and away... On second thoughts,I pity you lot. It's not like India is blessed with a plethora of top class spinners like SL.Not much else for you to do than hyping up muck like Asswin & Sir Judda :(( You have to do a better job at trolling. Look, when your best batsman has 21 centuries in Kandy, Colombo and Galle and averages in the 30s in 4/7 countries excluding Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, I can understand it must be frustrating. Ashwin helped his side when an ICC tournament away from the subcontinent. When was the last time a Sri Lankan did it? Oh wait, Sri Lanka have never won an ICC tournament away from the subcontinent, have they? Yet to win tests in India and Australia; failed to defend 300 in the finals session of a test match; have consistently choked in big games since the final in 2007; have been beaten by India in WC 2011 final, 2013 CT semi final and a host of other series in between. I can understand the pain, but try and be civilised. Even trolling should have limits. Be decent, be classy. It is hard to do that when you support a team that has Sangakkara I know but try :)
zep1706 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I'd play Shami. He can go for runs but he also bowls wicket taking balls. Mohit is predictable and will only go for runs.
G_B_ Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 So you would go with mohit? Why not go with Aaron. He really troubled SL with his extra pace in the warm ups.
Austin 3:!6 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Aaron will not play. It will be between Shami and Mohit. My guess is seeing Steyn being so expensive and the slower bowlers being effective for SA - Dhoni might go with Mohit once again - so he can stand in front of stumps. Mohit hit 141kph in his final over which I thought was interesting. So if our trundlers can really keep fitness and grow some muscles they can bowl 140kph. He was bowling yorkers in final over and speedgun reads high for full deliveries. He is still a trundler and I would want Shami /Aaron back.
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 beast of a resume. another WC and will be like Ponting
cowboysfan Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 why? the obvious candidate to take over is Kohli and i dont want him doing that till after the WC.
Austin 3:!6 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 OP why you want Dhoni to retire? He is only 33 you know that right?
vijay50 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Few more reasons for India to watch out for Lanka in finals. 1. Kusal Perera is Jayasuriya-2. Give him 5 overs to stay, he will make 70 runs. 2. Yuvraj cannot play Mendis even now. Expect Mendis, senenayake and Herath to trouble Yuvraj, Raina. 3. Srilanka loves batting first and make big scores. Since Dhoni won the SA match, he will be tempted to chase. A big mistake that will play into Lanka'snhands.T20 2012, Lanka lost the finals when trying to chase. 4. Poor bowling of Mishra and Mohit going to finals. Expect India to chase 180+ if this happens again. Also India's fielding was poor, whereas Lanka's fielding is good( no dropped catches). 5. Teams have been unable to chase against lanka in crucial knock outs. 6. Malinga is hungry to win the cup for Sanga and Jaya along with 1 million prize by SLC. 7. Virat is due a failure next match. Somebody else have to step up. All in all avgood chance for Lanka to lift the cup. Can Dhoni prevent it.?? Million dollar question.
vijay50 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Not possible. Next T20 world cup in India in 2016. He will retire after that in T20.
Midfielder Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 He was bowling yorkers in final over and speedgun reads high for full deliveries. He is still a trundler and I would want Shami /Aaron back. i dont understand the physics behind your observation.
