horizonspeaks Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Well, fun is that all that we are discussing are sitting in the same group - India, Australia and WI. We'll see one of them exit in the group stage ...
Iconoclast Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 No clear favorites ... aside from England everyone in with a chance I feel.
Iconoclast Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Well' date=' fun is that all that we are discussing are sitting in the same group - India, Australia and WI. Texan Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I believe the ICC still considers the ODI World Cup as the pinnacle of achievement in the sport. The World T20, I feel, takes place too frequently. A 4-year gap would have made the tournament seem more important.
Zero_Unit Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 There are warmup matches even after the tournament starts? how bizarre
Zero_Unit Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 We have 3 pakistani teams in this tourny ... Pak, Pak a (afgan) pak b (HK) ... not fair :/ regardless congrats hk
Pakistan Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Source? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ICC_World_Twenty20#Hosts I know it is not the best source.
StriKe Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 There are warmup matches even after the tournament starts? how bizarre It's a qualifying stage for Ireland, Afghan etc so two from qualifying round will join the super 8
Pagalpanti Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 They messed it up when they had back to back T20 tourneys in 2009-10. 2007 was actually a huge success. The SL one also was much better than the one Eng & WI hosted.
Zestian Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I have an excellent pair of balls,no need to develop any more each time SL thrash your minnow team ... :two_thumbs_up: On topic, SL will start as the obvious favourites to lift the cup.Having tasted success by winning the asia cup and breaking the finals jinx while doing so,only a fool or an indian fan boy would dare to bet against us taking what is rightfully ours, stolen by one-hit wonder Samuels two years ago ... Pakistan are the team that can post the biggest threat to lions with their devastating bowling attack and destructive batting talent.Bangladesh will be the dark horses of the tourney. IMO rich minnows, aka cricket world's whipping boys aka team india has a snowball's chance in hell of being t20 champs...:icflove: :giggle: SL... :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Is he kapil sharma or what ???:haha:
gaurav92 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Sir John is nowhere to be seen, I hope he didn't jump off into the Indian Ocean, after all this was just a warm up match. :giggle:
Cricket_Hacker Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 the qualifiers will be more competitive than i imagined
G_B_ Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 people need to hold onto their hats. Just cause somebody does not perform in IPL does not make them bad. He has got a sensational T20 record. Based on that logic Yuvi is like the anti badree. performs in international flops in ipl

rkt.india Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Batsmen should play Badree as a military medium bowler because he never turns the ball. They just come straight of the pitch.
