rkt.india Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Our bowlers need a lot of work in this regard, bowling yorkers.
Austin 3:!6 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I would not play Shami as he is not a T'20 bowler. Bhuv and Aaron will be my 2 pacers.
PAA-G Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 He probably got angry by seeing Saurav's thread on his going unsold at Nanda's Auctions and Mishra was just like a punching bag for MSD where he xpressed his anger!! :hysterical:
Roshanrocks Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Think what nightmares ishant causes dhoni to get chances regardless of his failures :hysterical:.... Most probably Ishant troubles MSD in the nets and so gets a very long rope...
Roshanrocks Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 He will change the goal post like Indian fans did in 2004. India cannot win this match... Its easy win for Pakistan... Ajmal, Afridi, SHahzad, AKmal are enough to win the game on their own... Our only hope was Misbah ... but Pakistan top order is too talented for him to get a single ball :sniffle: Now I heard even he has become very efficied LOI batter...
saneindian Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 And then we wonder why Mishra just warms the benches. So the captain facing him easily in the nets means Mishra doesn't get to play? If Dhoni rates him so poorly why is the poor guy being made to travel all around the world? Let him not be in the squad at all.

At least that is what the article is suggesting, also talking about instances where Ganguly would smash Kartik and that being the reason fir his short career. Selectors are the ones who select him in the squad right? After that its upto Dhoni to play him or not.
Crookbond Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Our bowlers need a lot of work in this regard' date=' bowling yorkers.[/quote'] Should we blame the coach?
Gunner Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Amit is our Strike spinner and should feature in all of the games regardless of how well Dhoni plays him in the nets.
Lord Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Amit is our Strike spinner and should feature in all of the games regardless of how well Dhoni plays him in the nets. Agree.Ideally we should play all 3 spinners.only problem is dew:((
saneindian Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Ganguly disliked / did not rate Kartik for other reasons as well, one being early in his career, Kartik, yet to play for India, giving Ganguly an abusive send off in a FC match. Plus don't think kartik toured with the team so many times warming the bench as Mishra has done.
rkt.india Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Should we blame the coach? No, but these things do not come overnight and take a lot of time and practice. He also is doing things when he is under fire. It is also not right for them to doing these things during a tournament. Like you cannot get good marks studying just a day before exams, similarly, you will not start bowling great yorkers overnight. It is a long process and should continue till WC, especially it should be done in off season whenever there are no matches. Another thing is wrong identification. Shami and BK both do not have the bowling actions to be able to bowl yorkers consistently. Shami can do that if he can stay balanced on the crease and not lose his leading arm too early while BK's action is not suited for bowling yorkers at all. I have already said many times that no coach can do magic overnight or during a busy schedule. Every coach will need time out of international matches in the nets to work on the bowlers that is the reason I always say we need a better bowling coach at NCA to guide our young upcoming bowlers rather than with Indian team because with Indian team bowling coach is mainly a tourist.
Scarves Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Australia - 2/117 off 9 overs Warner 65 retired out Finch 47 retired out.

Switchblade Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Australia - 2/117 off 9 overs Warner 65 retired out Finch 47 retired out. 60m boundaries they'll smash our bowlers for fun Watto and Davey have pwned us in the last 2 T20 WC matches this time too the Australian team will tear us apart :giggle: .
saneindian Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Dawes is going to get blasted if Shami doesn't do well.. Also some of these Indian reporters are writing too much about practice sessions these days. Looks like BCCI has totally cut the players off from the media contingent.
Scarves Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 vs? New Zealand. Watson hit Hira for 3 6's in a row and then got caught. 4/154 off 13.4 overs. Should get around 230-250.

Shami has not done well in any T20 yet. It was not right from selectors to select a bowler who has no experience of T20 in either IPL Or international matches.
