tweaker Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 How many fast bowling allrounder are there in the current ranji season who can be considered for 6 spot in test.I think of Rishi Dhawan,Abhishek Nayar Stuart Binny. Are there any new exiting talent
G_B_ Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Rishi Dhawan is the future of India i think. Exactly the sort of all rounder we need overseas batting at 7.
tweaker Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 Rishi Dhawan 89 and 5 wicket against Goa in the ongoing ranji season
Old guy Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Rishi Dhawan is the future of India i think. Exactly the sort of all rounder we need overseas batting at 7. he wont play for bambis next season so stop.
King Tendulkar Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Lets first find a fast bolwer:hysterical: Lets not run before we can walk
rkt.india Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Rishi Dhawan is the future of India i think. Exactly the sort of all rounder we need overseas batting at 7. Not sure about his batting yet.
Soorma_Bhopali Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 By the universal deifintion of "Fast bowler ", I doubt there is any fast bowler playing in Ranji's , let alone a fast-bowling allrounder. Trundling all-rounder may be the correct nomenclature.:haha:
Lord Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 he wont play for bambis next season so stop. hope he gets a better team in terms of exposure next year RR and even KXIP are better in this regard for youngsters
Old guy Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 hope he gets a better team in terms of exposure next year RR and even KXIP are better in this regard for youngsters but then he will never make into indan team:hysterical:
Lord Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 but then he will never make into indan team:hysterical: He will.Rahane also made it after shifting to RR.was never given chances at MI. However being 12th man at CSK is enough to get him a long run in Indian team:--D
Old guy Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 He will.Rahane also made it after shifting to RR.was never given chances at MI. However being 12th man at CSK is enough to get him a long run in Indian team:--D rahane is from mumbai so its never hard for him
Lord Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 rahane is from mumbai so its never hard for him but then Dhawal and Nayar havent been given chance in Indian team
Old guy Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 but then Dhawal and Nayar havent been given chance in Indian team dhawal plays from bambis and nayar did not look good enough maybe he improved his bowling ...idk
Lord Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 dhawal plays from bambis and nayar did not look good enough maybe he improved his bowling ...idk and Mumbai Ranji team,so it should be easy for Dhawal Nayar had a good season last year, average 90 I think
Old guy Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 and Mumbai Ranji team,so it should be easy for Dhawal Nayar had a good season last year, average 90 I think i don't rate dhawal that high tbh he should be in after shami and pandey fail and there are some other bowlers who are just as good like mohit..
Lord Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 i don't rate dhawal that high tbh he should be in after shami and pandey fail and there are some other bowlers who are just as good like mohit.. he can be good in ODIs I think.bowls good yorkers too
Old guy Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 he can be good in ODIs I think.bowls good yorkers too so does pandey and shami showed in last game that he can be good
G_B_ Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 he wont play for bambis next season so stop. how do you know that? dont tell me your into the inside info on the IPL :giggle: Anyways, the fact is that apart from Pathan he is the only other realistic seam bowling allrounder India have. Other options are Nayar (another one who i back) and Pathan (who keeps getting injured) Yes he does need to improve his batting. But he has the potential to do so. Still he averages 40 with the bat and 25 with the ball. Is 23 years old. Find be better sets of figures in the ranjis. Infact looking at his numbers, it appears that he is most of a longer format player than the limited overs.

tweaker Posted October 31, 2013 Author Posted October 31, 2013 Instead of giving chances to Pathan,Rishi Dhawan should be groomed. He could be a good no 7 batsman and a useful 1 cahange bowler
