Dhoni and the selectors know best. There's a reason why they kept backing Rohit after 8 scores below 10 in a row. There's a reason they keep backing Ishant aswell. He will come good too in a year or so. :agree: There's a reason they made Rohit open in ODI's and T20's (something he didn't do for Mumbai) If they make him opener in tests, Im sure they'll have a good reason for it.

he toured WI, didn't do anything. He toured with India -A to SA, didn't do anything. He played for champions league, looked in terrible form. He played well against Aussies in India but he looked clueless against short pitch deliveries and quality fast bowling. He wouldn't survive against steyn and co. in SA. It doesn't take a genius to know that..
