Is it just me or the poms looked like they are gonna $h|t bricks during the first test? absolutely no aggression from their bowlers, on hindsight mitchell johnson looked like hes gonna murder someone on that pitch. This game is a great leveler :two_thumbs_up:.

Massive media overreaction and ICC overreaction. Personally, I don't really like Clarke, but what he said was simply a pure sledge. Not personal, not racist or offensive. Sure, it wasn't the most creative sledge but it was fine imo.

Apart from using the F word, see no problem with that. In fact Clarke made two mistakes, he said what he did too close to the stump mic and his 2nd mistake was actually not breaking his arm or coming close to it. It'd be difficult with the arm guard on though. Jimmy Anderson dishes out a heck of a lot more than he gets. Anderson has admitted openly to getting satisfaction from sledging.

These guys can turn anyone gobby. Even smiley happy chappy Bailey is at it on debut. They don't like Anderson much.

Bailey couldnt do it properly despite team orders to all be sobs. He had such a big smile on his face when chatting to england and seemed to laugh at their replies, nice chap. Clearly Clarke has been reading too many ashes history books. He is trying to copy Alan Border and his rejuvenation of aussie team. As Border took over an awful aussie team who looked doomed, so when they went to england for ashes, to stop the rot he decided his team must become sobs and be a nasty bunch. They before were quite friendly and chatty with england. But he made them nasty and in their faces and rude. Gower was good mates with AB and said hello good morning as you do. AB blanked him and ignored talking to him for whole series, not even a good morning, rest of team followed suit in this attitude. Gower admitted to being taken aback by being ignored like this. Clark trying same thing now to turn them around. Copying AB! On Clarkes sledge it was spasticated and Anderson was not effected in the least, not one bit. It made Clark look an idiot. Game was won and number frigging 11 batting, whats the point. Whole point of sledging is to have a trace of truth or humour in it, something witty at least. Just saying we gonna break your arm is vulgar and spasitcated. Rubbish sledge. In fact would not call it sledge just abuse
