Old guy Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 great win but tbh ts now a days lottery against south africa in odis as captaincy has been recently changed and abdv tbh sucks and there are only 2 really good batsmen in team and they can choke too. this has set bat high for india though :nervous:
hhhhdmt Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 There is not a single international expert who has ever accused Junaid Khan of chucking, not one. Just a bunch of bitter fans who can't give credit. He does not chuck and he will continue to get better. Whiners can continue to whine

Sidhoni Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 You want to see what the W/L ratio for Pakistan playing at home was. I'll show you: Pakistan at home since 2003WC (till SL attack) W - 22 L - 21 W/L - 1.04 So much for Pakistan dominating at home. Out of those 22 wins most are against weak teams like WI and NZ. They lost 2 series each to SA and Ind at home plus a series to SL. There goes the myth of Pakistan being a "great team at home" Pakistan in UAE (Since SL attack) W - 11 L - 19 W/L - 0.57 The W/L reduces further due to retirement of Inzy, Youhana etc. As for India playing a "shyteload" at home India's away/neutral record (last 5 years) W - 48 L - 27 W/L - 1.48 (Far far better than Pakistan's "home" record before the exile) India's home record (last 5 years) W - 35 L - 23 W/L - 2.33 Ofc India's home record is far far better but our away record is very impressive in it's own right. In the same period Pak's away/neutral record (no excuses for not playing at home) W - 27 L - 37 W/L - 0.77 (nearly half of our 1.48) :hatsoff:

mishra Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Africans have started choking in bilateral series too.
div Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Was quite a victory that. India's CT 2013 victory was better
Sarkar Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Was quite a victory that. Even nz won those fluke series victories like your team did India won champions trophy twice which your team couldnt not even once
Square Drive Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Pitches were different though (more SC like). SA should prepare real fast tracks for visiting teams even for ODIs. But still this was a good achievement because Pakistan done it with so many new players :nice:
Kashmiri Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Even nz won those fluke series victories like your team did India won champions trophy twice which your team couldnt not even once If you knew anything about that series you would see that SA rested some major players! No Steyn,No Amla straight from the top of my head. Pak beat a full strength SA team - including the 1st time they played their test attack in an ODI! So smoke on that lol

vijay50 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Pakistan can beat other teams only in shortened 3 ODI match series. Let them beat SA/AUS/Ind/Eng in 5 match ODI series. If that happens let us see.

Sajid_Rana Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Pakistan was also the first team to win a test match in SA in 1998 when it was impossible for Asain teams to even compete in SA. All these talks of great batting line up , batsmen with 50+ average means jack if you cant win series away from home. The fact remains that Pakistan team produced the result and gave us fans the opportunity to cherish the series win for decades to come Mashallah.
