Well as meaningless as the Pak vs SA series was and as meaningless as the SA vs India is it shows that Pakistan's bowling on these surfaces is good enough to bail out the batsmen and India's batsmen are not good enough to bail out their bowlers. It's funny reading threads like this because you get a heck of a lot of drivel de-meaning the series win, but the same members in other threads moaning about India's inability to win. Pakistan competed with SA in SA in an ODI series, the most recent one, India have been owned well and truly owned. Winning a series is never flukey, it's why you have a series and not one off matches lol. So to ensure the best team wins. India may have won 6 series in a row, heck they could have won 25 series in a row for all I care. But if you can't beat the best bowling attack in the world on proper surfaces and not 350 plays 350, then that doesn't matter. India lost where Pakistan 2 weeks earlier succeeded, it shows 2 things, India are crap compared to Pak on that surface and India's batting is not as dangerous as many lead us to believe.

That's because SA took that series casually. They already thrashed Pakistan 3-0 in test series where Pak barely competed, beat them in ODI series, beat them in another ODI series in UAE 4-1. This last series was scheduled only because India shortened the tour. Most SA players were going through the motions and Pak managed to win two games. Besides, pitches for ODIs in South Africa against New Zealand and Pakistan were good for batting. Pitches for the current series against India had lot more for bowlers which Steyn, Morkel etc could exploit. Pak batsmen wouldn't stand a chance against SA attack on a pitch which has assistance. They barely survive on batting paradises.

Agree with it SA looks very casual against Pak.I don't think teams like SA or even Australia take ODI series seriously.Just remember in last ODI against 7 match series in India the Aus pulled out Johnson , saying that they want him practice for ashes. the series was tied at 2-2 at that time

I post most of the time in the tennis thread. However there's no tennis till Jan, so spend my time in other areas. Anyways coming back to the point, congratulations to Pak on this win, might just be a meaningless ODI series, but SA have just slaughtered India in the current ODI series.
