Everybody gets forward,Even rohit was on front foot but he was upright not big & leaning forward strides like dravid and ponting while defending.Clarke is more in rohit style than ponting or dravid style with his halfcock movement rather than huge front foot movement like ponting

did he just play drive ? and ball bounced similarly if u see the map and from similar area 1-2 inches do not matter man you guys really dont see it do you ? that is differnec between kohli and rohit kohli will make similar balls look much fuller and make them look it did not swing cos he meets the ball on front foot whie standing outside crease and also keeps his head very low rohit just stands in crease and tries to either push the bat at all or leave it that is his only option. you know what i wil stop this never ending argument cos i have read everything here now from newlands test match being eaisier than this odi to clarke does not goes on front foot and plays from crease we have rest of series left so i will give them all few more chances but if rohit wants to survive for me its simple that he needs to get forward even if its hardest thing to do on bouncy tracks sachin used to say that in south africa he had to tell himself consciously to go forward while in india feet moves on its own..:winky:

fuller length is always harder i just noticed something which is very very disappointing not one ball steyn bowled to rohit was hitting stumps... all of them were wide at 5 th stump line swinging from outside off stump so essentially he should not have fished at even one ball you are better at hawkeye than me so find beehive placement ..

keep in mind i said its okay (no big deal ) and that better batsmen have struggled here against htis particular bowler i just said he struggled and it was not good inning...bas :wall: and people here are hyping up technique when he mostly missed all the balls ! same way i said kohli sucked vs morkel same way i said bhuvan is no match to philander.. i am fecking hater here or maybe i am the only one not hyping my team like no tomorrow and expecting real results from very young side who has lots of room for improvement and is on first real away tour against number 1 side!
