It is going to be a nightmare for both Rohit and Vijay. He is a dangerous bowler.. even more dangerous to right handers because of his ability to take the ball away from the batsman from the stumps. One way we can overcome this let Dhawan face him as much as possible. I know he can get him out too. But odds are he is more dangerous to righties.

Play him out for dot deliveries and then get run out whilst chasing 350+ :cantstop: Realistically might sound crazy but come down the track, move around the crease, play unorthodox shots. Steyn was once a very ordinary ODI bowler. Mess with his rhythm and current form and he will go back to being an average ODI bowler.

Dhoni has massacred him quiet a few times. I am not talking about how to handle him in slightly easy paced conditions. In conditions like wanderers with the kind of spot on accuracy, pace, bounce, movement he is virtually unplayable. Kohli with the kind of form he is in even covers such movements. Today he missed that movement by an inch so much so he had to smile it off. This is where we are going to play Tests as well. His outswinger can be neutralized with a left hander as that would be an incoming delivery. It is much easier to handle his minute deviations of an incoming delivery rather than an outgoing delivery.

You can't simple as that, you have to come in to bat when the ball is at least 15 overs old to have any chance of surviving. Talking about test here.

What a bowler. I enjoy his bowling thoroughly except when he bowls to us :(( . I always liked Donald better than any pacer in the last couple of decades. This guy is gradually becoming my all time favorite fast bowler.

for one dayers, play out his first four five overs without losing wickets to him. Drop yuvi. Bring in gambhir For test matches. Vijay can may be play at number six.

All Indian batsman should release a joint statement for Indian fans and ask them to calm the hell down. Landed in SA, no practice game or opportunity to settle down, no idea if they even had practice session and asked to face best bowling line up. Yes they are professional players but that doesnt translate to them being machines.

Sachin batted a feet outside the crease against him when he was bowling a great spell in Cape Town and even then he stretched his front foot to get to the pitch. But none of these guys are half as good as him.

I don't think India ran into a fast pitch like this in a while. Fastest i have ever seen at Kingsmead Durban in 1996 where India got owned for 100 and 66. Donald was unplayable.

Agree bounce was too much here from good length, Cape town it didn't took off that much from good length. Even comparing this pitch to Australian wickets is unfair. We won't get such pitches even in Australia.

This was nothing compared to that pitch....yes it is a big jump from the Aussie and wi series but defintetely not as unplayable ....225-250 pitch mad into 350+ thanks to our tundlers :hail:
